If only happens on certain time like night or weekend only, then confirm tm routing boom.
Try restart router to get a new ip prefix,"some ip prefix" may dont have problem.
Try wait for longer time to restart your router, seems like now sometimes too fast reconnect will get same ip.
Better get 60.X or 175.X or 147.X or 115.X IP,those ip will only have routing boom when really all ip got routing problem.
I just use something 110.X last week for 2 days, and this ip prefix got problem whole day,so must change new ip prefix.

And last, now dont have any IP prefix can avoid routing boom when tm network really overload.(Especially every weekend always got problem for international network, except 90% of Singapore server.)
So just get a VPN which also 100% work well and stable when routing boom, then that VPN will be the savior for the internet.
*
ya it only happens at certain time. I also ask this at a Fortnite FB group and they also recommend to get a VPN but to me that is not a solution bcs i feel i am paying rm136 for 100mbps and some ruby pack that i dont even use,i expect tm to solve this issue for me.

U complain to mcmc about tm not fixing this problem, higher chance for long-term solution.
To TM,they not going to fix it since they now saying that they only ensure you have internet service, other QoS they not going to care.
Even that ubisoft problem from few weeks ago, that still happens sometimes, and no further fix, only wait the network recover lower usage and will normal again.
*
ya all this only started few weeks back b4 that every thing was fine. IS it so hard for them to just revert back to a few weeks ago???
Also don't know why every time i restart my modem i will always get 175?

Not revert can solve,it just because when the problem happens, there is someone or more people using more bandwidth that go through the same routing from tm network, and causing network overload within tm network.
Try to close the router on off switch for few mins, and u will get a different ip normally.

This is unifi reply to me on the packet loss problem. The server they refer to is not theirs????

understand. Usually gaming activity is subject to the capacity of the content web server itself. You will be facing latency issue once the webserver has reached their total capacity user at a certain time (especially during peak hour and it is beyond to our control) Where a server is located and how many players are currently using it, all affect the online gaming experience.

Guys when tm customer service people you talking to ask for your account number if you want to them to help you. I wonder what will they do with your account?? Example will they look up your search history or what?

I used to work as a CS rep, not for TM obviously
Basically when you called in with registered phone number, they can already see all your informations. But we still have to do identity check as we couldn't 100% confirm the person calling is the real owner. If we skipped that verification part, kena deduct salary or getting fired you know....
If you called in with other number, by using your provided info still can grab your account info, just bit slower lah...
And relax, no phone no pendrive no paper no pen
Your info is in the system and system alone, CS rep can't bring those out
*
Thanks for replying. But what pops up when you key in our account information into your system will it show internet search history or just your location?

I remember someone saying 1 of the things that they can see is the last few websites that you visited. No idea if it's true or otherwise.
*
lol so just a few means maybe 5-10?

QUOTE(QuantumEdge @ Mar 4 2020, 11:41 AM)
That I couldn't confirm with you, as I'm not on ISP CS
Could only tell you that much, still under NDA
You will need to connect your pc to the orange box, I suggest swapping that netis out for something better lah...

lol ok

It's not TM's fault, so why should they pay for it? Tak puas hati with the power surge, claim with TNB, not TM

For the BTU, yes they will replace it for free because the BTU carries lifetime warranty
For the router, buy your own lah, no need to renew contract and what not. I suggest ASUS RT-AC86U
*
How much is that router I Google it I see few hundred more then what tm quote me. If can I don't want to pay anything bcs I have damages that include few thousands bcs of that surge.

Sorry to hear that, I had the same problem last year.

1st, call TNB and and they will send someone over for inspection. You can either buy new or send damaged devices for repair. Make sure to ask repairman take pics of burnt/broken components. Then submit all receipt and pics to the person in charge. They will bank in to you after approval. Took about a week or two.

My router survived. BTU wasn't powering on and TM offered 2 options:

a) free replacement with 12 months contract.
b) pay RM 200-250 (iirc)

Later I found out that only the power adapter was dead. I have a spare from old devices with the same power rating and it worked. So I call TM and and cancel the appointment.

Help this helps.

Thanks for the reply bro.
So for your case they send someone over to inspect your damages??? Bcs when I call up some grumpy guy told me to go to tnb office and fill up a form which I'm not too happy about bcs there is the Corona virus now and I am avoiding public air-conditioning places... If they can come to my house would be better.

No problem.

Yes, they did. It was quite serious and another 4-5 of my neighbors were affected. Let me ask my wife how she got in touch with TNB and let you know in the morning.

Morning, my wife said she called 15454. They sent someone over few days later and after inspection, told us to repair/replace all broken stuffs.

When we were done then my wife filled in the form and sent over repair pics, receipts etc.

We were asked to keep the broken stuff too but the person never came back.

Got rid of those after they bank in, around 3k.

In your case may be you can try calling again. If they insist then you'll have to visit a service center. Staffs there could be more helpful in person.
*
Ok thanks for the help bro.

Personally my connection to certain websites like twitch or imgur usually goes crap at somewhere around 3 pm to past midnight, even before mco. Even right now I can't view any imgur pic.

guys if having problem with twitch just email them your results and they will fix your issue. Dont talk to their livechat team or call since they will never pass to the network team.
*
same my twitch very bad, have to set quality to auto and can see it going down to 160 and up max to 360p... If i set it to anything higher it will stop and buffer for few seconds...

Facebook working as normal for me. Do you have IPv6 on? I turned mine on as it helps Twitter's media. Maybe it'll also help for FB.
