That's interesting. Can make some profit at the same time. But how do you make sure the Wifi will not be use by the whole taman? You setup specific SSID for each house?

I'm using router connected to switch. Switch is connected to their houses either with LAN cable or fiber drop cable. As for the bandwidth, I just setup bandwidth limit for individual IP address. Each house will get their own static IP address(tied to my supplied Router MAC id) which capped to their respective speed. Means all my neighbour's Internet will be double NATed. In case they want to use their own CCTV etc, ill do port forwarding for them under my DDNS name.

This is a good solution if people know how to set up those technical stuff. Especially for housing with port full problem. Downside is just to hope the neighbours are good people and do not use internet for illegal things.

Yes thats true sir. I got a liitle black&white thingies that can help to protect me in case of unexpected things. So far the neighbours is all just normal workers with happy family background with kids at uni currently studying from home. If it is some fishy neighbours, i would even think twice lol before renting out to them. ANyway thanks for the advice sir. Really appreciated

Careful with the black and white thingies between you and your neighbours. Might backfire on you. In situations like this, I think a gentleman’s agreement is best. Nothing on record.

Mostly should be fine since I'm using unifi biz. Just a little insurance for me. All of them is happy at the moment and thats the important thing. Thanks for the reminder boss

That's a lot for 100Mbps. I charged RM50 for 100Mbps shared bandwidth. No scare TM see your fibre line and complain you haha?

i am using biz 500 hence the higher tag price for 100Mbps. Already consulted with tm staff/agents such selling bandwidth action is allowed on business segments. and on the fibre cables, its all on my own poles on my own land, no TM poles even one bit. Plus TM technician already saw all of it when installing the Unifi haha
