Generally the longer you are as a Unifi customer, the more benefits you get (either speed upgrade or subscription reduction).

Sorry, what I mean is that speed upgrade is usually given at a reduced price to an existing Unifi customer when compared to a new customer subscribing the same speed.

If I am not mistaken, existing Unifi customers subscribed at 100 Mbps are Turbo Upgraded to 800 Mbps in 2018 at no extra cost.

I have no idea how much were they paying for their 100 Mbps before the Turbo Upgrade 2018.

Turbo Upgrade path is like this.

30 Mbps --> 300 Mbps

50 Mbps --> 500 Mbps

100 Mbps --> 800 Mbps

I just called 100 to request for a DOWNGRADE of Unifi TV Ultimate Pack (RM60) to Ruby Plus Pack (RM30).

Saving RM30 per month as I do not use Unifi TV at all. I know they will not allow me to unsubscribe the Ultimate Pack.

Surprisingly they said OK, can downgrade.

However, they will charge a one-time fee of RM10 for the downgrade and it will appear in my next month's bill.

And my Unifi Tv contract will be renewed for another 12 months.

All in all, it is a good deal as I will save RM360 per year. laugh.gif

I tried again to remove Aneka package and just to retain Ruby only, let's see if it will happen. Been trying since Turbo days and no succeed. Hopefully new year, new hope. If I succeed, it will bring down from RM 129 to RM 99 for 500Mbps. Fingers and toes crossed.

I think I am the first to successfully downgrade my Ultimate Pack to Ruby Plus Pack just before CNY.

Raynman has success too.

But yours is a removal of pack, not a downgrade.

My Unifi's dynamic WAN IP NEVER changes by itself unless there is a power trip or a firmware upgrade.
