34Ms ping,

i subs to 50mbps download & 20mbps Upload

Why so high ehh? No one playing games ohh.

I am getting 4ms consistently.

Lower than 10, but Tm told me its normal for my Download & Upload speed. Maybe if i subs to higher MBs, i can get lower Ping.

anyone tried escalating lack of HSBB issue to MCMC before? Are they even helpful at all?

Higher speed does not mean you will get lower latency...
It is depend of the physical connection between you and the server,will be affect by
1. using copper cable or fiber optic cable
2. using ethernet or wifi for the device
3. traffic routing
4. cable quality
5. terminal point(like when tm technician doing the fiber end port to the btu,bad end port will cause signal loss or something else)
6. your modem/router/btu and the local network exchange center distance will or may also affect the latency.
etc

I dont think it is mandatory for TM to provide you with HSBB via fiber. TM will tell you to use any other means, such as Unifi Air or streamyx. Even the sub par speed is best effort. cry.gif

is the speedtest performed on wifi or wired connection?
if wifi then it is normal that you get higher latency

I tried every possible methods, from TM point to HQ, monthly PM their FB asking for coverage;
They send agents twice (2017 and 2019) claims unifi will be avaliable mid or end of the year.
Everytime takes our thumbprints and IC, but no actual actions are being taken. MCMC is my last resort, if this doesnt help I'm grabbing the entire tmn to boycott TM (we already did on streamyx).

interesting. i did somemore testing. i have both Unifi and Maxis 800/200 at home. it seems both has become 500/100 this week. i wonder if someone messed around with settings.

Damnit!

This morning i livechat with TM i told them to reset my UNIFI@Password.

So after i back from somewhere , my unifi cant be used.


Tm told me i have to reconfigure.

Anyone can help me? I have try to reconfigure but still no internet access, but on my router it ligh yellow. Means got internet but not pass to lan nor Wifi.

My router is Netis DL4480V1

Easily solved, just enter your new password in your router.

That router only supports 2.4GHz
Dump it then get a better router. I suggest ASUS RT-AC68U / ASUS RT-AC86U

Reenable your IPv6
I have no problem whatsoever accessing international website, and that includes WeChat web as well

My one already report from last year 2019 until now. So open the case already almost 1 year.
You say report mcmc might faster to pull in fiber to your area? The answer is "You don't think too much.." cool2.gif

You wanna boycott TM? Then go ahead, who the hell TM will care you..

Sorry, who cheats who again? You can be sued for defamation. How did UniFi cheat consumers? Many of us are not cheated by them.
