buy, play and collect dust/give friends/DIY flying soucer.

buy, play then show off to frenz that u got more ori games than he has with his ahem's.

For me I only play games with a rating above an 8 on gamespot and gamerankings. And only those 8.8 and above I keep. Hehe i know very kiasu!

Chuckle... most games I buy I try to finish it, those haven't finish I try to come back and finish the game...

I buy some first hand games, keep them.

Haven't bought any 2nd hand games so far. Haven't sold any either.
I've been pretty wasteful with some of my 360games. E.g.

FM2 limited edition = Played like... 5 times only. Played online twice I think? Longest session, about 1 hour+

Saints Row = Played less than 10 times. Short sessions. Only 1 achievement unlocked.

Lost Planet = Played till the 5th or 6th mission only.

Dead Rising = Played once in a while in a period of 1 month. Still haven't killed that Carlito guy.

Depends , if the game good , I will finish it no matter the difficulty . I learn to enjoy and finish most of the games as I grow up . The first FPS I actually finished is Far Cry , seriously, and followed by HL2 and Doom3 . Before that , I cant finish any FPS thrown to me LOL .

my selection not there...

i buy new game if it's in my A list, buy second hand if in B list, finish the game if i can. if i can't move on, finish it some other day, and never sell the game and make a game collection unless it's a total crap or it's in japanese.
