I have just bought mine Legion 5i with nVidia 2060.

However when trying to download the display drivers from Lenovo I saw:

1. AMD VGA
2. nVidia VGA
3. nVidia GFE

I knew that I probably need to install the GFE drivers, but what are the VGA drivers for? Do I need them?

GFE = GeForce Experience = complete suite including driver and optimization software

If you're not going to mess with your graphic settings from Windows, installing the basic driver would suffice.

Thanks. So, it means that I only need to install the GFE driver right? Since it includes everything.

How about the AMD VGA? Does it comes with dual dispaly chipset (like those notebook with Intel + nVidia)??

No, your build is clearly equipped with RTX 2060 as you stated. Mobile chipset usually only comes with single GPU unlike desktop computer.

Thanks again. So I will install the GFE driver only.

There is a BIOS update on the 16th Dec. Wonder if I shoould upgade as well. hmm.gif

Just update, there are indeed 2 GPUs inside, can be switched on by UEFI setting: Discrete GPU -> Switchable CPU
