Going to change my X1 extreme to X1 carbon 6th gen

I stopped buying lenovo after finding out they don't have their own service centre in Malaysia - it's via 3rd party store in Plaza Berjaya.

I had problems with HDD, and sent it there. They formatted and told me not to update Windows 10. Beat that.

Now, going to give my lenovo to some kid, I just bought an Illegear

Anyone got full list of Lenovo service center? or 3rd party service center?

I have seen resellers sell Lenovo laptops without windows - comes with FreeDOS or other linus iterations

but I have never seen new Thinkpads being sold by unofficial lenovo shops or online, and these always come with Windows.

those are old hardware right? what about recent ones? What's the lowest-end Thinkpads nowadays anyway?

I disagree (but just my opinion). Thinkpad laptops last long, with only the battery that may need replacing if you want longer hours

Other than that, plenty of people on /r/thinkpads are rocking older laptops including the X220, X230, T4xx series, etc.

I was on the used X1 Carbon 1st gen for a few years, before I made enough money to buy a new X1 Carbon 6th gen. The 1st gen helped me make so much money, I gave it to my sister because it is a good, sleek-looking laptop. Love her, love the laptop.

Bro, run the keyboard tests when you COD ya. You may or may not like it. Thinkpad changed their keyboards a few times across the generations, and some models are released with two different keyboard manufacturers, one of which is better than the other. I don't know, because I was/am not in the market for 3rd gen

What do we have in the market? The one from Lenovo official is RM1k. Any similar docs for less RM?
