however t495 basic spec start with ryzen 3 pro only, if want ryzen 5 pro add a lot $$

e495 start with ryzen 5 u is good price, just hopefully u r lucky to get a good led panal from innolux, as online buddy feedbackquoted that buying from lenovo just like gamble also don't know which supplier stuffs u would get, got 3 manufacturer supply led panel to lenovo, best is innolux, the other 2 dim display. same fate to other thinkpad models.

Only thing is the Ideapad L340 comes with TN screen (even the FHD version). I already put in my mind don't get anything less than IPS display.

I would upgrade the cpu to atleast ryzen 5, take the 4GB + 4GB ram option, upgrade the ssd to pcie nvme for RM10.

And atleast go for 1080p FHD screen, unfortunately this option is only avalaible with Ryzen 7 option, otherwise you just get 15.6" HD (1366x768) only.

Totally agree, and also minimum IPS instead of TN. However they want affordable, if you go FHD with that model, need choose Ryzen 7 option and once you do that, the cost jumps from RM1500 to RM2000. For budget conscious, that is a big 33% jump in cost.

i called CS just now,... they said they can't cancel my order on phone, i need to write in,...

so i place another order (customized as u teach),.. and ask them to replace previous order with new order via email,.. waiting for their answer,.. if cannot, i'll just let the new order to expire,...

if they approve, i wonder how they refund the balance ??..

the customize section had changed, no more FHD on display,..but got 8GB ram removable,... end up price is rm1622 after code discount,..

Really puzzled why they pick this Kerry. My place in Alor setar, they drive 10-ton lorry all the way to deliver 1 laptop.

I am looking a laptop that i can tinker and install linux os.
But i dunno the touchscreen compatibility.

As for screen, full hd is a plus. But not compulsory.
