QUOTE(KopiChia @ Nov 11 2019, 01:04 AM) Lol even if got sale I kenot buy dunno why on the bank street my area all cimb/maybank/public were down at 11.30pm I tried to deposit money into my kwik card. Anyway I am still satisfied with my 13s after upgrade to 16mb ram and 500gb ssd. Just bought 16gb RAM but maybe won't put in the thinkbook 13s, instead put in my T495. Anyways you feel any difference after upgrade?

My advice to people here is follow any threads about 11.11, sure got good deals that people found and share that you missed out on. Here's a simple google search, you can limit by 1 hour, or 24 hours:

QUOTE(KopiChia @ Nov 11 2019, 03:20 AM) So far only this PowerBank is interesting but will need a slim tip converter if wanna charge thinkbook 13s Price wise, better just get a mi powerbank 3 and "usb-c to slim tip" adpater from taobao/aliexpress. Total damage around RM130. Also you'll probably only get 45W output but still get a massive 20,000mAh power bank. This post has been edited by kuci_mayong: Nov 11 2019, 03:27 AM

QUOTE(KopiChia @ Nov 11 2019, 03:27 AM) I tot by default thinkbook 13s own adapter is 65w can pd 45w be used? Yes can but you lose fast charging. It just charges slower. Check out the reviews: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000010614573.htmlOfcourse Benefon will know better when come to this.

QUOTE(msacras @ Nov 11 2019, 03:29 AM) Lenovo do have official slim-tip to PD adapter. Else you can opt for 3rd party like what I done with my L340. Lenovo donāt have official SKU for 4mm pin to PD like the slim-tip does (though they do offer it with their 1400mah power bank like Benefon shown before). I opted for a 3rd party generic 5525 to PD then adapt again to the Lenovo 4mm pin. As long as you know what youāre doing and the wattage or voltage well, it shall work well. From what I see, people say as long as above 45W output should have no issue with this "usb-c to slim tip" type of adapter.

QUOTE(msacras @ Nov 11 2019, 03:33 AM) Practically yes, cause the model weāre getting is without GPU, 45W is more than enough to power it and charge it at the same time. In fact thatās why Iām favouring AMD Ryzen APU models over Intel+discrete GPU; cause AMD APU can fit everything under the 45W limits, why Intel+discrete of similar performance will still run on 65W. But one thing I donāt like to use under wattage charger adapter is the annoying pop-up when your laptop detected its insufficient to what itās rated defaultly. The Xiaomi3 pro is actually 40W on USB PD, so my previous Dell ultrabook with 45W adapter keep on popping out the annoying popouts... Just to add-on. For most of Lenovos lineup, they include the 45W charger, unless you actually go in and upgrade the charger to 65W yourself for RM0-RM4. The one's you really need to careful are the desktop replacement, gaming laptops and workstations. You'll know they need more power because the charger included won't give you the option for 45W, instead you'll be asked to go for 65W - 170W charger instead.

QUOTE(KopiChia @ Nov 11 2019, 03:35 AM) I guess I will wait and see if dongle will be sold in lazada/Shopee the other day I think I seen a converter sold buts no longer listed. Near rm400 too expensive for a 1010 laptop. š Benefon got share before an adapter by the company thinkplus, i think this company is owned by Lenovo. should be save to use and buy. can buy from taobao.

QUOTE(msacras @ Nov 12 2019, 03:50 PM) Mang, I'm spoonfeeding you here cause I see you as a fellow ktard and kecian that you didn't get a t13s last month. The left most model, the RM1.5k one, can customise yourself. Things to customise is 3500u, 4GB onboard RAM, FHD screen and 128GB NVME SSD. All together should be RM1.6k++. Use shopback to make it cheaper another bit. Good idea for budget built.

QUOTE(msacras @ Nov 12 2019, 04:52 PM) Its spectacular if not for the Thinkbook 13s setting a level totally cant be outmatched, KEK. Ryzen 5 is about the performance of an i5 and a 3 or 4 series discrete GPU, and that will easily cost RM1k more compared to this Ryzen build. The only major problem with laptop is the screen really sucks. But after weeks of use, I agreed that its still very useable, at least for indoor. Only thing is the Ideapad L340 comes with TN screen (even the FHD version). I already put in my mind don't get anything less than IPS display.
