Should had gotten L340 (AMD). I gotten mine 2 weeks before I gotten my T13s, and its a deal pretty much half way as nice as the T13s.

I paid RM1.6k for a Ryzen 5 + 256GB SSD + 4GB soldered RAM (needed for dual channel memory on these models) and FHD (TN though) screen, and it comes with cashback of RM200+ (still pending) and redemption for a copy of free microsoft office home and student (worth another RM200+).

Try negotiate with them if can cancel the order and place a new one for L340 (AMD). You can get about the same price as what I get, all be it the SSD size now is only 128GB (but it has NVME option for cheap now as compared to when I ordered mine) and no more free microsoft office redemption.

Dude... my advice. Buy what is within your budget. If you add a little bit here and there, your purchase is going to be way over your targeted budget.

The left most model, the RM1.5k one, can customise yourself.

Things to customise is 3500u, 4GB onboard RAM, FHD screen and 128GB NVME SSD. All together should be RM1.6k++. Use shopback to make it cheaper another bit.

It’s your choice... You can definitely saved some more money with ShopBack on the above specs, that will make it notably cheaper than what you had paid.

This model comes with 1 soldered RAM and 1 open socket RAM.

If you take the 8GB selectable RAM, the soldered RAM part will be empty. Better configure the soldered part with max memory (in this case 4GB RAM). In the future, you can upgrade the open socket RAM part.

Better to go with the soldered RAM option if can, cause later on cannot upgrade.

In future you can upgrade the one 4GB DDR4 SO-DIMM open socket to something higher like 8GB or 16GB. Even crucial website confirms can max the RAM to 20GB.

If you want the best package (Ryzen 5 with FHD screen), you can only select either of 4GB onboard or 8GB single stick option. They don't allow 4GB+4GB configurations to be ordered with Ryzen 5 with FHD screen.

But like I explained, top up just a little bit and you can get yourself a 8GB stick outside, far more future proof than 4+4GB.

This is the "best" specs that I will configure. The choice of whether you want a DVD reader or a dummy bay for mounting extra HDD/SSD is yours to make though, they cost only Rm2 differences.
