sport touring i dont think will suit these kinda helmets unless u remove the peak. otherwise itll catch wind and noise will be the least of ur problems.

unless u have super tall windscreen like touring bikes, i wouldnt recommend these dual sport helmets without removing the peak... after removing the aero should be pretty decent to cut thru wind.

as for noise, these kinda helmets are known to be noisy as airflow is a main factor for these kinda helmets...easily solved with earplugs (which u should be doing anyway)

As someone from a 1.7kg modular to a 1.4kg full face....im gonna say its worth it...i ride a naked n the lesser weight really is a blessing especially on my neck.

Just bought an LS2 Valiant II helmet.. sigh its too noisy even with earplugs.. anyone else have this helmet and have similar experience?

At 80 the wind noise is like me riding 120 with a cheapo MHR modular helmet..
