Just telling, I'm using GXT flip up now. I wouldn't really recommend it... Sponge very thin, inner lining keep coming out (I need to stitch it coz it pop up every time I remove helmet), the chin not lock tight enough, the wind noise very strong + whistle sound (60kmh start noisy already), rain leak into inner visor... Overall, it feels very poor built... Anyway, that's just my experience and on flip up model only. Others no opinion.

Bought it for RM168 from Shower around 5 months back... I am looking for upgrade too due to what I have mentioned... To be honest, I don't have much experience with helmets... I might be wrong, but this give me a very cheapo feel personally... Would prefer to save up a bit for more expensive one now... Currently eyeing on Shark Evo One 2... But might need some time to save, meanwhile bear with the cheapo one 1st...

Ya bro, haha... I find it quite hard for me to wear on a fullface, so going for modular... Saw few brands have something familiar, but Shark already have few models, so I reckon they might have more experience and refine their products?

Mine is spec at 1.7kg, but I never weighted it myself la... Have tried 3hours journey on it, still feeling ok for me... Anyway, I'm a big size guy so might not have too much trouble with weights... Currently wish to get a flip back type la... Flip up catches a lot of wind when opened coz sometimes not using highway would like to use as open face...

Ur z9 highspeed too high I think, haha... Mine if head tilt slightly downwards feel not too bad... Changed the wind pushing downwards to chin instead of backwards...

Yea, saw the ads regarding the new pricing. But unfortunately watched the review side by side stated there's so much to love for the one2 compared to evoline 3... I'm not regularly changing helmet, so I think prefer to save for the better one... Anyway, who knows if my hands might itch before I saved enough and end up with evoline 3... Haha... Anyway, I thinks it is really a great bargain after price dropped...

Just sharing the problem I've solved on my new helmet.. Not sure if it does the same to others, but can give it a try.. Bought my new helmet few months back, and compared to my cheapo previous helmet, this is quieter.. But recently started realizing left side of the helmet is noticeable louder than the right.. After some test, discover that this sunvisor slide is the source of the noise.. Covered it up and I have a much much quieter helmet.. So anyone having same slide on their helmet can try this.. Con is the visor can't be use anymore, haha.. BTW, mine is LS2 FF324 (modular)...

Wonder anyone wearing Shark Evo One helmet here? Currently eyeing on HJC Rpha90s Carbon and Shark Evo ES.. Recently bought Shark Spartan Carbon and quite like the lightness of it.. So 90s carbon seems to fits my liking.. In the other hand, Shark Evo looks special for the flipback and 1k cheaper, but it's a bit on heavier side.. But saw YouTube review said can't really feel it weight while wearing even on long trip.. Wondering how true it is..

Unfortunately I'm really size XL/XXL haha.. For this size usually modular reached 1700g above (my LS2 1750).. That's why when I bought my fullface at 1390g it's like heaven and hell.. Haha..

Kinda agree, actually went to test just now in Welly which they only have the fiber version.. Even though it's rated at 1650 (just 100g lighter than my LS2), it feels much lighter..Think they balanced it well.. BTW, poisoned by the Suzuki Gsxs750.. Think probably pause the helmet for a while 1st, will try submit loan for bike.. If rejected only go for 90s carbon, if approved then woohoo, new bike.. Hehe..

Not actually impulsive la.. I have actually decided to buy 2nd hand z1000sx in early 2020 before lockdown.. Luckily haven't bought yet then went into lockdown d and I'm severely affected.. But then last year got new part time job and then early this year full time salary restored to pre-covid time.. Furthermore the offer is too good now.. The price was 55k last time when I'm surveying price, but now only selling 41k..
Btw, still sticking to my previous budget which is around 40k+- so can't go for new litre bike.. There also got a z1000sx year '11, but no matter how durable a bike is, sure there will be wear and tear here and there already.. Don't want extra burden on maintenance, so end up choosing 750 new bike la.. Hopefully loan can approve la later, will submit it next week.. Just worry a little coz salary was halves last 2 years, so there are chance that it will be rejected..

Hopefully, coz current bike already 14years since production.. Heavy hearted coz maintained it quite good, but really do think it's time to move on d.. See how la got luck o not.. If got good, if not also I'm okay with my current bike..

Not really, anyway mine is 1st model 2008 which is CBU Japan which many said is the most durable version.. And I took good care of it too.. Bought at 60k mileage straight do VC, then 100k straight do full overhaul.. Anyway, every parts have lifespan especially wear and tear item.. Changed few items during this 3years 60k of riding.. Radiator, coil stick, charging coil.. Repair fork 2 times, then seals in water pump 2times.. That's all, which I think is acceptable for the age of bike..

Used twice also can reach 16k.. Unfortunately this time size 160 ran out of stock everywhere.. The time I wanna buy even PR5, T31, T32, all no stock for 160.. Ended up need to settle with the older Z8..

My Ls2 Metro wind noise very loud going in from the hole of the sunvisor switch.. I taped the hole and can feel noticeable difference..

I'm actually tried the foam type and I'm not liking it.. Tried the ones for swimming and I stick to it ever since.. Washable and can control how deep you wanna plug..

And as wearing it with comm system, I think can hear clearer with earplug on coz it blocks away all the wind sound.. I always ride with music on + earplug on my LS2.. And for my Shark, I'll skip the earplug as for me it's quite a quiet helmet..

Ya, the pine tree shape type that can adjust how deep you wanna plug.. There's another one type that got hinge at the end that follow earshape.. That I found is not comfy.. Anyway, diff ppl diff ears, I guess we just need to try until found one that fits us well.. It all serves the same function in the end..

Bro, wanna ask how you think bout the helmet? Anyway, does it have speaker holes inside? Looking for replacement for my daily helmet LS2 modular.. Watch few YT reviews but none showing the inside part, give up d..
Anyway, the side view wide enough? Coz my other shark helmet side view is significantly less than LS2 which I need to make some effort to look left and right and also need to take out my helmet if I need to reverse..

Oh okay thanks bro.. My current one got sunvisor, but my daily ride route I never used before.. Only sometimes ride with friend got use when facing direct sunlight.. But for leisure ride I have other helmet, so try get this for daily as cheap as possible and yet still provide decent protection.. CS-15 seems like good choice for me..
