QUOTE(vincious91 @ Nov 22 2019, 12:50 PM) Oni rm799, other graphic 799 + free colour visor... one thing I'm not sure is that the shell component, it stated alloy composite, but what's that. Cant even search for any review in the net Went to the shop to take a look, the helmet looks rather big compared to other ff helmets. More for oval head fitting

QUOTE(basilisk @ Dec 11 2019, 02:11 PM) Ls2 helmets hv nice design n graphics but internal shape is always long oval. Very large internal sun visor. dang! no wonder everytime i put on the helmet my ear feels so tight and i always have to insert my finger to adjust my ear. bought it in a haste online for driving lessons. Just tried Bell Qualifier and it feels rather tight for my ear. Bell also long oval??

QUOTE(Karenalvin @ Dec 14 2019, 10:21 PM) i believe so, probably more oval than neutral. If i am not wrong, I tried it once and it was not the right shape for my head. being tight on the ear is not the best indicator but should be taken into consideration since being comfortable in your helmet is very important. since you are talking about the Bell Qualifier, i am assuming you are using a full face for your LS2 too? everyone's head is different, but i think if you can insert a finger and reach your ears in a FF helmet then it is probably ill fitting (probably too large) for you.a full face helmet cheek pad should be pressed firmly into your cheek while not giving you pressure points on the top of your head. if your cheek pad is not pressed firmly against your face, you should try a size smaller (without introducing pressure point at the top ofcoz). a new helmet should be very snug but has no significant pressure points. i typically choose one where i can feel my inner cheek pressed against my gum. the cheek pad will mold to your face after a week or two and the pressure on the cheek will lessen while still giving a tight fit. BUT if everything about the helmet is nicely fit and your ears being folded in is the only issue you are facing, you might have elf ears and the best solution is probably to use a skull cap. Open face for LS2 spitfire and its freaking tight, had to forcefully insert my finger to adjust my ears cuz its folded. the ear pads can be removed but has yet to try it. as for the bell Qualifier, there's definitely pressure on my ears when i tried it on but not as bad as ls2. I also tried Lazer rafale sr helmet, trying to find more info whether its neutral oval or intermediate oval cuz its darn comfortable, fits like a glove

QUOTE(Karenalvin @ Dec 14 2019, 07:14 PM) i find it really odd thou, since i think most of us here in malaysia would tend towards rounder heads, why don't we have more of those around. what about those malaysia or indonesian brands? anyone has experience with them? are they more suited to our head shape? can try Lazer helmet, i think my head is more rounder than intermediate oval and lazer helmet fits perfectly. I was having issues with my ears feeling very tight. even their AGV k3 i feel abit tight on my ears. bell qualifier is tighter but lazer fits perfectly on my head. XL size.

QUOTE(jacktay94 @ Dec 22 2020, 08:18 PM) it will be ideal, but antifog spray works too. It doesn't fog up as much, but when it rains it will help loads, esp when you can't crack open your visor when water is gushing everywhere. i am also looking for a solution to this also, but do you think an anti fog insert is better? will it obstruct vision especially the borders.

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jan 9 2021, 01:45 PM) ive had it for a couple of years i think....feature-wise its quite good....but i really dont like it....its so heavy... i ride a naked bike and the aero on the helmet is pretty bad which forces my head to be pushed back by the wind above 140kmh hurting my neck, add the weight to that, ouch. wind noise is weird as its very loud on the left side only while the right is not too bad. build quality is meh, my visor will not stay up and will close halfway right in my line of sight blocking my vision. when brand new, it seemed to fit fine, but after awhile the padding started to get softer where it wont fit my head shape again properly and there will be times when my head will hurt alot wearing it. so i avoid wearing this helmet most of the time. and i truthfully wanna sell it off as i recently finally managed to get enough money to upgrade to an Rpha90. would highly recommend increasing budget abit and look at other flipup alternatives such as Lazer at LSH Racing World... anything around the 1.5kg mark or below should do fine.. the atom is 1.7kg i no likey my flipup LAzer, bought it a year ago and only used it less than 10 times. shell size abit too big since they only have 2 shell sizes

QUOTE(alexei @ Jan 19 2021, 08:36 AM) Can consider selling it off while it's still useable (within that 5 year window). So, it looks like a lollipop head once you put that helmet on? Or it just feels too heavy/bulky? dont think its that easy to sell since the size of the helmet is XL but of course i would like to and purchase myself a full face instead of using a modular (newbie mistake, first helmet) and yes it looks like a lollipop head and i ain't that small size either.

Im using this open face helmet. I wonder if an open face with a full visor in front reduces the wind noise significantly compared to this type of helmet. This post has been edited by ExCrIpT: Aug 20 2021, 11:19 PM

QUOTE(alexei @ Aug 21 2021, 09:47 AM) ExCrIpT that's a cool helmet. Is it certified for standards? wind noise - around the neck roll, chin, and behind the neck can test as you ride, by covering those gaps some helmets come with earplugs, Pista GP R, but that's another level for those wearing earbuds, if you hit on the helmet next to the earbud, will it hurt your ears? For this reason I'm more inclined to wearing soft earplugs.
LS2 Spitfire Its ECE certified, this helmet imo looks much better but i got the plain one. was in a rush to get a helmet for the b full practical and i needed a XL size helmet, couldnt find a cheapo XL SGV helmet (or maybe i dunno where to find cuz i noobie ) i like the visor and the quick release buckle but the windnoise is horrible (ard 60 km/h) compared to using a modular helmet. Since i use this helmet for nearby taman riding only, so i guess its ok.
