I mean i always see in fb, ppl buy molpoint and send the receipt, then me as the receiver, how do i get cash from there or how do i cash out?

I don't think so. Ya scammers do that, tell you to buy Google play card or steam card. Then trick you to scratch and give the pin at the back. I don't think you can cash out those. I bought before garena card, cannot cash out at all so I spend it on games related instead.

Just like any other gift card, you can cash out the serial number on the receipt as long as its not used yet.

For your last question, it's harder to track serial numbers than cash. So say I'm a scammer and you sent your serial # to me. Since you didn't directly remit any cash thru the bank, I can utilize the code, purchase something else (e.g. RazerPay code) and sell it on other platforms, such as LZD, Shopee or Carousell. You won't know who I sold it to or my account used to sell.

So as a victim, it takes way more effort to trace.
