Well, obviously it was an important day for my sister and definitely her photo moments were captured not entirely by me. She hired Robin Ng and his photos were great.

But since I had my D40, I said "I want to shoot too!" and they had to let me shoot. Here are just some of the moments I captured.

My father was definitely up early in the morning to get ready. Hah! But I was there first to capture his early morning moment.



Obviously, I haven't woke up fully since my flash also set wrongly. No wonder she didn't trust me taking the photos for the day.

Of course, time flies and soon everyone was up and it was time for my sister to get ready. My parents were really happy their lil girl was getting married.



And my sister was definitely extremely happy.



And my sister's friends? Well, they were happy for her. So they had some fun time before getting down to business in welcoming the groom.



Finally, the groom arrived. It was not going to be easy entering my house. I had to quickly take this shot then rush over to open the door and receive my angpow



He realised soon enough that he wasn't going to be able to walk in just like that.



First up! Drink sour drink!



Then, came the bitter drink, before.... bun? "Ok what, just bun only..."



It wasn't just any bun. It was a bun filled with sambal, chilli padi, chilli, wasabi and any spicy thing you can think of. The groom was sure glad that his "heng tais" were there to take care of him.

Soon, the challenges were over. And he could smile happy!

Mana tahu, went inside the house still need to face challenges. My sister say you better know how to sing our song! Luckily got lyrics.



After sing song, need to pujuk to open the door.



But it was finally happening. They were going to get married.




After putting on the rings, it was time for tea ceremony. My parents by now were grinning from ear to ear. Give away gold also so happy



After receiving gifts, it was time to give away the ang pows which means small kids happy lah.



And after that, it was all the group photos which I shall not bore you with Hope you enjoyed this ''all over the place, truncated coverage'' of a wedding.

Yep, the 24-70 f2.8 and the 10.5 f2.8

It is Pro One at Kota Raya. I saw the D40 grip as well Or at least the label was there

D300 noise controle not much diff unless is a FF

Eh? Not much diff compared to? Lol cant compare to D3 la. That wan ISO6400 is like ISO800 on a D300 But the D300 is quite a huge leap compared to CCD cameras lor..

Yep, got the 10.5mm as well. And I agree, there was too much sharpening on the wedding pics.
