Ok guys n girls

here is my review on N73 v.4.0727.2.2.1

1. The update is a smooth process...change the product ID using NSS and to the NSU ...(for those who donno how to use NSS can goto my blog http://lucifer-doom.blogspot.com/)
2. After the update of firmware. First thing i check is the music player. The music player is the same as the previous v4 music player. not much enhancement though. Yes music have exit button.
3. In the camera menu there is an option for night potrait...not sure whether it is available in the previous firmware or not.
4. The quick menu button opens up music player.
5. Able to start he browser to m.youtube.com browser working fine. Clicking on one fo the video will prompt the real media player to open and it will say number of max connection has been reach and ask u to disconnect the exisiting connection. The the real player will display an error saying cannot open the video. At least it proves one thing..my DIGI EDGE is working..
6. Stereo A2DP is supported. Tested with iTech Blueband Strereo Headset
7. The Waveform Theme is back!! My previous v4 vanilla dont have this theme
8. FOTA (firmware over the air)
9. when u open the picture gallery, the zoom button is more usable. you can zoom up to 400%. Just use the middle button to zoom in and zoom out.
10. I manage to pair the HOLUX GPS M1000 with my N73 but the smart2go software (www.smart2go.com) wont be able to use and detect this device.!!! Damn it..they have not fix this bugs.... i really dont understand...the phone can pair with it so the smart2go software should be able to use it too!!!!

Latest firmware for ME is now available? I'hv tried to changed my product code to APAC1 and update using NSU, but same result as before, it stated that i already have lastest firmware installed

P/S:I already updated to latest vanilla v4

o.o confirm it before i go for it the firmware,hehe any good games for n73me or any good software pls share out here...thank you...i lazy searching for the game not fun and wasting time game...somemore can conplain to nokia bout the headset while listening mp3 can set more louder?coz i m using AD-41+logitech gaming headset sound seem like normal...cant preform welll....

Hmm it is so obvious u did not read thorugh my post correctly.

You need to change the product ID before you can update to the latest firmware because right now the firmware is only available for EURO .

just goto my blog it is explained there...sian..i have to repeat many many time...why dont u just go and read...

hey.. n73 latest firmware rite.... when taking foto.. will the screen still be bluish?

How u gonna complain to nokia about the headset bundled? I think either the headset u have got problem or ur ears .. The loudness from my AD-41+hpm-70 is more than sufficient for me. Maximum loudness in the headset just loud enough and comparable with those SE's.

If u want it to be LOUD, just use a large speaker with its own current support and connect to ur AD-41, u can ON it as loud as u want.

Here is my headset, good combination as viper says



It serves me well nomatter loudness or sound quality. But there are still a little difference in terms of sound quality compared with my previous w850.

Font also different compared to APAC. I don't feel comfortable using other than APAC product code coz the font type change. This firmware also the same?

Try LCG Jukebox...
It sounds better then the original music player...
But the volume is slow...

About the firmware I'll just wait for APAC version to be released...
From the review the music player is the same as the v4 vanilla...

I have put it to the 1st post~ Thank u for sharing this.

But I exprience no problem with the AD-41 so far, tried it with: the original Nokia earphone, Philips SHP8900 and SHE9500, SE HPM70 and Senn MX-400. All works fine.

hmm i prefer to use iTech Blueband...more cool and the sound quality also not bad.. the most important thing...wireless!!!

I dont find any difference in terms of sound quality of default player and LCG jukebox lol.. Somemore LCG canot use the controller.. haha..
