hi all n73 guyz , im just owned n73 firmware v 3.0638 . i want to know if i upgrade my fw to the latest one v4 , izit the big fonts on my n73 will be change to the small wan ?

Hmm I remembered no cleaning cloth also when i bought my N73 last year. OK will update it to ver4, my warranty almost gone liao.

Got my n73me last friday..nice..

Guys.......After contemplating for few months whether to choose k800i or n73/me i finally decided to try out n73, but i still have a few doubts in mind hope u guys can help me out.

firstly, is it worth to invest a few hundred more for a n73me over n73? My friend say i can 100% convert n73 into n73me, is it true? I mean, is the hardware inside totally same? I don't really listen to music wif my phone, I got a good mp3 player already, I will buy n73me purely for cosmetic reasons. I just want to use the camera more.

I found a dealer selling n73me for RM1699 in queensbay penang, he said its original, the price seems ok for me, is it the normal market price?

Can we request that they don't open the box / i.e. the original stickers on the box intact, so that we know they didn't change the accessories / battery? Is it usual for customers to make such a request? Some time ago my friend got cheated buying a ori set hp only to find out that the battery lasts <1 day after few months of usage, most probably a fake battery.

here is my review on N73 v.4.0727.2.2.1

1. The update is a smooth process...change the product ID using NSS and to the NSU ...(for those who donno how to use NSS can goto my blog http://lucifer-doom.blogspot.com/)
2. After the update of firmware. First thing i check is the music player. The music player is the same as the previous v4 music player. not much enhancement though. Yes music have exit button.
3. In the camera menu there is an option for night potrait...not sure whether it is available in the previous firmware or not.
4. The quick menu button opens up music player.
5. Able to start he browser to m.youtube.com browser working fine. Clicking on one fo the video will prompt the real media player to open and it will say number of max connection has been reach and ask u to disconnect the exisiting connection. The the real player will display an error saying cannot open the video. At least it proves one thing..my DIGI EDGE is working..
6. Stereo A2DP is supported. Tested with iTech Blueband Strereo Headset
7. The Waveform Theme is back!! My previous v4 vanilla dont have this theme
8. FOTA (firmware over the air)
9. when u open the picture gallery, the zoom button is more usable. you can zoom up to 400%. Just use the middle button to zoom in and zoom out.
10. I manage to pair the HOLUX GPS M1000 with my N73 but the smart2go software (www.smart2go.com) wont be able to use and detect this device.!!! Damn it..they have not fix this bugs.... i really dont understand...the phone can pair with it so the smart2go software should be able to use it too!!!!

It is a bluetooth GPS receiver...

haha.. i didnt care so much, copy all necessary stuffs(pic,music,vid) to my pc and reformat both my phone and memory card. Then install back everything. Else once u restart, take of memory card and put back, unplug the usb when mass storage, it will sure show "installing" when u read to dekstop of ur phone. It takes quite long time for it

hi there, dear seniors and pro's..
I have jst update my N73ME FW to latest one V4.0727.2.2.1 (04-07-07). ok.
What i encountered is... when i make calls... i can see an I-beam cursor on the right side of callers name.. what is this? this is jst happening after i updated my FW... bug or what? Any reason why the I-beam appears whenever calls made... please help me to solve this?

Compared to V3:
- The music player has a new option "Exit".
- A new default "Internet" folder and the default "Multimedia" folder is gone.
- Snake game is not installed.
- A new theme "Motion".
- You can choose between Yahoo and Windows Live in the Search function.
- The phone vibrates when it is switched on.
- Picture quality in dark condition is slightly improved.

the LCG jukebox just work like TTplayer, the lyric will scroll down from as if it is karaok
