i pity my room mate.

he's been conned by his own friend into buying a fake nokia N73.it looks too good to be fake, heck, the symbian front menu below the date time and telco name is just the same as normal symbian phone.

the hellish nightmare came when he brought his phone to me asking to update the firmware.tried to update by using NSU but cant.Pc-suite cant connect.everything also cant.somehow an unknown USB device called "MT6227" came out of nowhere when using this phone's USB cable.

he even gave me the box for me to see, surprisingly it's Nokia N73ME box! and with Nokia earphones and nokia chargers too!

the obvious phone spec are:
2mp camera
USB mode: 3 mode to choose; mass storage, webcam, COM port
camera screen not in landscape mode
there's no Option in menu
keypad lock is on the opposite site ( upper right button, and # )
there's no Autofocus

i wasn't able to spot the difference at the first glance..he should have brought me ( or someone else knowledgeable about phones) when purchasing the phone. he learnt his lesson now.bought the phone for RM800.

anyone here use AD-41 with 3.5MM headphone? how is the quality? good / better than hpm-82? I using HS-23 now...... plan to get AD-41

it has two functions.. let people the phone is in sleep mode
and another function is light sensor
but, i feel the light sensor will just adjust the keypad back lightning only,will not cause the screen become brighter

ya..... brighter means.... the backlight is brighter 
yeah..... try outdoor.... no keypad light, then put ur hand at the LED then u will notice there is keypad light 

So, where is the infrared port for N73 ?

Guys, recently, my N73ME switch off automatically very frequently...Don't know what happened to it..

Nop...i tried k800 and N73 focus.... N73 has a better focus no matter in far or macro mode.... N73 has a very clear macro mode...

For k800 there is 2 type of metering mode, SPOT and NORMAL..... spot is with a crosshair where the iso, brightness depends on which point the crosshair shoots at..

while the normal mode is for overall compensation, usually use this at night cause if use spot at night, the Autofocus asist light will cause the autofocus to be useless at night... as it will be too bright when the focus light shines on object and the crosshair is aiming at the bright part causing the focus to be out of focus....
Thats why k800 picture has a better white balance and iso, their pic always wont be too bright or too dimm.....and with xenon flash its unbeatable...
if N73 got metering mode like k800, definately will win k800 in day light photoshot..... but night shot, k800 wins for sure....
of course when he change to ME, he will change the product code

then wat shd i do ? change new sim card ?
