TV OKEY do not broadcast news on primetime too (despite having news services). Drama Sangat is more to drama repeats. And both channels are less known for the viewers.

Yup, not need to do so (at 8pm) as news service are already widely available on other channels.

My area is receiving broadcast from Bt. Tampin station

Unfortunately, the antenna is too high (rooftop of double storey) for me to remove cable from masthead and connect directly to the antenna

Otherwise, you can get someone to help you take down everything, especially the UHF antenna, and then re-install it somewhere that can gives you easy access to the antenna, anywhere but not on dangerous places like the rooftop.
Yes, "higher is better", but who knows you could actually able to receive adequate DTT signal even if you place the UHF antenna on the ground floor. You won't know if you didn't try it.

If you do, consider replace to the new antenna cable, RG-6 coaxial cable. It is the same cable type used for Astro, and it ends with F connector.
You can use a F connector to PAL connector adapter/converter to connect to your TV or digital TV.

As for the VHF antenna and outdoor booster, you can choose to put in the museum or put in the store room, or throw it away. It's no longer needed like those days anymore.

If too complicated, consider buy new antenna online, plus RG-6 coaxial cable (if you don't have).

Guys, I would like to ask your advice.

I have an LG integrated digital TV running LG's WebOS. I bought a Greentek (full product name: Dtv-12 Digital indoor Tv Antenna Aerial Uhf for Mytv Myfreeview Antenna). I installed the antenna and did a TV auto-scan. My signal quality is 98% according to my TV (I'm in KL center) but I am unable to switch from Mux1 -> Mux2 since there is no option available on my TV -- it's just auto-scan.

I can only find TV3, NTV7, 8TV and few shopping channels. Ideally, I would like to also receive RTM, RTM sports and Bernama news.

Should I buy the MyFreeView box? What are the recommended next steps so that I can get RTM + Bernama.

Do you try the manual scan option on your TV?

The myFreeview/MYTV frequency for MUX 1 is Ch 45/666MHz (TV3, 8TV and others) while for MUX 2 is Ch 43/650MHz (RTM channels and others) in your location.

Try repositioning your Greentek antenna first to other location during manual scan while tuning for RTM channels. You will find a spot in your house where both multiplexes are receivable.

There is no need for separate myFreeview/DVB-T2 set top box as your LG TV already has DVB-T2 built in.
