Another thing, what happened to the Filipino drama between 3PM - 4PM on TV3 every Monday to Thursday afternoons?

That Filipino drama has a lot of fans from what I know many places where I go people are watching that.

It’s been replaced by Jom Relaks slot, where it contents telemovies from Indonesian tales during school holidays. And don’t worry, it will be resumed to original Telenovela programming next week.

Ever since the beginning, I have not been satisfied with my digital TV.

Previously have expressed my frustrations here - https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4713876

With my Wirats T-9602 antenna, I have lost channels over the past few months. Last night, loss all channels. Furthermore, had to pull on the wire from the TV side for it to work.

I give up. I go out and buy another antenna.

Spent at least an hour last night trying to get it to work. This time because the antenna includes mounting to a pole, I installed it on the pole outside my house that currently still supports the antenna for last time analog tv.

I'm from Penang island. Got people who's job resolves around helping people with their digital tv problems? Any suggestion? Preferably can speak English.

Which area of Penang Island are you from?

Sometimes, when the signal is strong enough to be received from a small sized UHF antenna, especially with the short line-of-sight distance from the TV tower, then just use a small sized UHF antenna is good enough.

Wirats T-9602 antenna, is it this one?

This self rotating antenna with booster, may not be suitable if the actual DTT signal in your area is strong. But first of all, could you tell us which area of Penang Island are you from?

Just tried again. This time with external tuner box that I used last time with my old TV which did not have built in decoder. Connected it to my new antenna and according to the box, was getting 100% then 0% and then back to 100%.

Lately signal in Semenyih/Beranang, Selangor has been very poor. 5 years ago when I first got the MYTV Myfreeview decoder with amplified indoor antannae I could get strong signals for all channels, RTM, Media Prima, Bernama, Channel W etc. located inside a bed room in the house.

Then about 2 years ago, the signal became weak and I had to place the indoor antannae on the window grille. Now even on the window grille the reception for all channels is lousy resulting in no signal or choppy reception.

I see this Awesome TV is mostly a Malay channel. They better stock up on more English and Chinese/Korean/
Japanese shows if they want to boost their audience viewership or increase the amount of their viewers and boost ratings. Maybe 50% Malay and 50% English/
Chinese/Korean/Japanese shows will be good.
Besides they can also have some Thai and Filipino shows too.

Update on my problems.

I called the the customer hotline, 1800-18-1088. I got from the bottom of https://myfreeview.tv/.

They say because I don't use their myfreeview decoder, I cannot call for their technician.

Also advised me on manual tuning.

But regardless, they suggested I download the antenna pointer application from the google play store.

However, on their website, https://myfreeview.tv/coverage, got tower in Penang island while in antenna point application, no tower in penang island.

Call was quite soft.

If you're not using their own MYTV set-top-box and you call MYTV customer service, they will malas to layan you, cuz they'll ask you to refer to the place where you buy your digital TV box receiver or TV.
(Since you didn't buy digital TV box from us, so why should we help you?)

As for manual tuning, try this method:
While you reposition/readjust your antenna, you got to monitor the signal readings at "Manual Search" page or "Signal Diagnostics" page of your digital TV receiver after you input one of these frequencies:
Mux 1: Channel 45 - 666MHz
Mux 2: Channel 43 - 650MHz

Keep adjusting/positioning your antenna until you get a strong and stable (not fluctuating) signal strength and signal quality readings.

Show us a photo of your antenna and also where/how you place and position your antenna.
And what is the cable type used for your antenna? RG-6? 3C-2V? You can check the cable type by looking at the cable jacket like this:

will do as suggested.

but just now, before reading your suggestion, I try adjusting the antennas (trying all possibilities, have both new and old antenna mounted) which is mounted on a pole attached to the roof. To my surprise, digital TV working no problem ... when I was physically touching the new antenna. (I had a family member on the phone to report me the status.)

The old antenna, problematic as ever. unpredictable. one moment worked no problem, bumped the cable slightly, stopped working.

Funny la. I saw some FB comments on the Awesome TV page, some viewers want this channel to have its own newscast at primetime (8 pm). Like every time new channel launches must have news programs as well eh?

If so, what name will it be? Berita Awesome? More towards parody news boleh la.

Due to the news services occupying the slot, FTA viewers have pretty much no choice other than news service on every main channel. From what I see, they tried to provide an alternative to viewers.

If they do really want to provide a news service in the future, make sure it isn't aired during 8pm-9pm. Providing a news service needs a lot of resources, which Awesome TV don't have, unlike Media Prima.

Try re-terminate the cable. Cuz it suggests to me that the cable is not properly terminated.
