Just sharing, if you guys can't get in change region to Europe.
Americas which is recommended for us Malaysian has no indication of queue time, i waited 15 mins to get in and just quit. Asia is like 20k players ahead to wait.
Here's the juicy part, though it is Europe region, the game server is actually Singapore once you enter a match. Anyway have fun guys!

Haha so Overwatch 2 is Blizzard future? No plan of Warcraft 4 already? Hahahaha.

When I started playing OW1, I played Asia region too, I think ping was >80 ms, which is still playable. One day I was surfing reddit and someone mentioned for SEA english speaking players better switched to Americas region since the server is located at Singapore instead of in America. The Singapore server ping is about 30ms ping and alot of English speaking players too. Actually newcomer or not it does not matter what region you play in, all your cosmetics will carry over. Just that for me Asia server are kinda toxic especially for QP matches. By the way now no border at your portrait or your "stars" to indicate how long you have been playing.

You want resemblance of FPS better go Fornite, you want to play in a teamwork environment and willing to learn the heroes then OW2 is quite fun.
Just that compare to Fortnite BP where you pay once and just get the all the V-Buck from leveling up, for OW2 there is not enough "points" to get a free upgrade to next season BP, so you need to spend again every season to get the cosmetics when leveling up.

Then again you don't have to to pay for BP, just for OW2 you need to put your mobile no. before you can play to minimise hackers since now it is free to play.

Gave it a go last night, it was less fun than I expected. Downgraded visuals, questionable decisions on 5v5 and economy, worse polish than predecessor..

At this point Paladins might won me back..gg Blizzard
