At least they call to ask. kiplePay is even worse. They blocked my withdrawal without even informing me. When I asked to check why I have not received the money after waiting for about a month, they told me the transaction failed because I have insufficient balance which is not the case as the transaction was shown as successful on the app. They closed my case 1 day later because I did not reply to them. So, I attempted another withdrawal since the balance was already in my account. Money was deducted and transaction was shown as successful again. I checked with customer service again after a few days to be on the safe side. To my surprise, I was told that my withdrawal request had been rejected and I must use up all the balance on spending. They said since I have only done top up and withdrawal without any spending, it is considered as abuse. I have only done that once last year. This is the second time I am doing that. I am just using its feature (and charged RM2 for that) and not even excessively. That does not make sense at all! This is the worst e-wallet that I have ever used. vmad.gif ranting.gif

It does not matter even if you have other usages. I strongly disagree that it is abuse. Two times withdrawal is already considered abuse? Then might as well not allow withdrawal at all. I have done more withdrawals with other e-wallets without any issue. I did not even get a call to ask about it.

Yes, I only used it once for withdrawal because of that. I still have some balance in my wallet because I wanted to give it a chance. I tried it once on Domino's Pizza and it did not work. The acceptance of this wallet is rather low among the merchants. I kept it for about a year waiting for a chance to use it, but there is not really much incentive for using it too. I finally gave up and decided to withdraw my balance. But since the fee is RM2 per withdrawal, it is not worth it to withdraw a small amount, so I topped up more money into the wallet and withdraw everything one shot.

Beware of how kiplePay treats dormant account. According to the T&C, they will terminate your Account and forfeit any stored e-Money if your Account has been left dormant for a lengthy period of time. They did not define how long that period of time is. This is in contrast to the Unclaimed Money Act, where they will attempt to inform you first. You can still claim back the money from the government even if they have dealt with the money under the act.

Anyone manage to still reload GoPayz using CIMB Lazada prepaid card? I was able to a few days ago. However, it was unsuccessful today. I wonder if it is a temporary issue or if GoPayz decided to block CIMB Lazada.

Beware of GoPayz's fee for non-usage. Mine was charged despite having spending for last month. After contacting customer service, I was told the spending is counted from 16 last month to 15 this month. I was surprised to find out about that. I always assume it is based on calendar month. Is the cycle the same for everyone or it is user specific?
