Hi, I just moved in Serdang and got the Iburst USB type 3 days ago, still a noob on this thing. I did read the previous threads and google the topic but still have some doubts. Will be grateful if anyone can answer them:

(1) How reliable is speedtest.net? From Speedtest result, I got 900+ kb/s for download and 200+ kb/s for upload (just as kevyon6 got). But the iBurst interface just showed me 200+ kb/s for download and 100 kb/s for upload. Is it normal?

(2) I checked the Local Area Connection Status. It actually showed 'Limited or no connectivity'. Anyone mind to help me understand?

(3) What is the max download rate you get when using BT download software? I am using BitComet 0.97 and getting max rate around 30 kb/s, common? Also, read from this thread, Izzi is not suitable for p2p download? They will warn the user for p2p user?

Sorry guys, really not a computer person. Hope the questions are not too silly.

Thanks in advance for answering.

Thanks Kevyon6. I ran the Speedtest and monitored the Iburst interface at the same time. Speedtest - 900+kb/s but Iburst interface - 300+ kb/s only.

I am using Window XP. The connection yesterday (31 Dec around 11pm) was superb, around 1000 kb/s download! And my Bitcomet download was average 30 - 40 kb/s. But today at the daytime dropped back to <10 kb/s. It really confused me. How come the difference can be so great!?

I have tuned my MTU to 1400 too.

Read the previous thread. Someone actually said he was warned when downloading CSI using P2P.
