Yes,in this 1 week, our CS will call up customer whether the speed have been increase in certain area after the upgrading is complete. smile.gif

Since the website states that all areas are affected, does Izzi CS plan to call up those 3,000+ subscribers, or only those who complain? If so, I'll need to lodge (yet another) complaint... shakehead.gif

I'll start posting positive things when I win that BMW tongue.gif

Deathly silence from the company to a reasonable question. Or maybe I'm being ignored for posting so many negative, but true, things about the service? whistling.gif

hence izzinet should not practice the same method....regardless wat example to justify its means, but in the end, customers will ultimately feel cheated....

That is why I said in my previous posts (if anyone read properly) that they are beginning to sound desperate for business. Once they slash the prices for IzziOne, the other packages may follow later.

So, unless you're really really desperate for a connection, you may as well wait a while and see what other discounts and freebies they will offer soon, maybe in the next 3 months. Don't get over excited and sign up now only to regret later when prices are cut again laugh.gif

The longer you wait, the better the deals will become. Maybe even a good big antenna thrown in for free later tongue.gif

laugh.gif Speedtest results are one thing, but what are your typical download speeds for the sites you download from most often? Speedtest results can be good, but download speeds poor... shakehead.gif

Try downloading this big file from Microsoft (it's the full Service Pack 2 for Windows XP).

What I would like to say is, even though the speed test result might be quite poor but the download speed (using Thunder) is quite good for me, around 30-60.

*
Errr...what is so different between your speed test results and your "30-60 download speed from Thunder"? 30KB/s is approximately 240kbps while 60KB/s is approximately 480kbps. Looking at your speedtest results, I'd say they were quite consistent?

Unless I'm being stupid again in my calculations...if so please forgive me... blush.gif

For a 1mbps liine that Izzi is supposed to deliver, you should be getting a speed of around 125KB/s maximum. A little less depending on wireless transmission overhead. But still, it should be hovering around the 100KB/s mark which is equivalent to 800kbps.

BTW, does anyone know if the product is transferable? I really don't want to wait till mid January to cancel my subscription to get 6 months of my money back...if I could sell it off to a third party now, I'd give one month free subscription laugh.gif

I've cancelled this sorry ass of a service already. When I was there, there was one other person to collect his refund cheque and I saw another one going in as I was leaving with a box under his arm, presumably to cancel too.

They didn't ask why I wanted to cancel at all, they must be used to it by now I think...

According to what this subscriber witness, it will seems like the whole refund thing is transparent and not to mentioned that he also witness another ex-subscriber collecting his refund cheque, if it was really the refund cheque. Hopefully all the other subscribers who wants out will have the same transparent termination process too.

Sorry I didn't have the courage to jump on him, take his cheque, take a picture of it, then demand that he tell me what the cheque was for to make my post more believable tongue.gif

But yes, the process is relatively painless, except that you have to go to their office to settle it, in a congested part of town. Not to mention having to pay RM3 for parking at the building. And here's the best part - you have to go back to their office to collect the refund to boot. They won't even waste a little money to send the cheque to you. Times must be really hard.

Anyway, I'm measuring them on their promised 30 days turnaround for the process to be completed, failing which I will have no compunction whatsoever of reporting them to the MCMC for breaching their promise.

Pssst - technically you should refer to me as an ex-subscriber, since I've cancelled the service! biggrin.gif

I cancelled my service in mid January. I was promised three weeks for the refund by the Izzi employee who attended to me. It's now mid February. I am wondering whether I can get my refund before I reach retirement age cry.gif They have also outright lied about their promise to refund within 30 days shakehead.gif

It looks like this company does not only suck in their service, they also do not keep their promises.

Enough said about them for now.
