Many will switch to all-US portfolio now?

Or create another all-US portfolio instead?

My initial intention of using wahed invest was to have a portion in US stock market. So of course now that i have the opportunity to have all-US portfolio, i just do the switch. Don’t need local or sukuk exposure in my portfolio as i already have that in my other investment vehicle.

For some, switching may mean locking in all the losses on the MMID and Bond portions. MMID was fine until the past 1.5-1 months. Bond was negative since I started Wahed, anyways. HLAL was the one carrying the gains since the last optimization.

Very true. Considering current pandemic and political uncertainties, I don’t see our economy rebounding any sooner. Bond will keep having low return for quite some time, as long as the interest rate is low. I think that may be worth tinkering to lock the loss and move on. And of course need to consider overall investment exposure etc.
