QUOTE(Zaryl @ Apr 28 2024, 01:29 PM) Have not tried Interactive Brokers. Stuck with Wahed. Happy with performance. No time to actually micro manage stocks.I do read each portfolio specific stocks chosen. Aside from few which I am neutral. The fact that they keep balancing portfolios every 6 months or so means that it is more of an active ETF. |

QUOTE(meors @ Jul 5 2024, 07:36 AM) I put a bit in WAHED and the return looks impressive after only 1 month. In it for I think 3 years now. Withdraw few 2 times, contribute monthly.1. Anyone withdraw before and how much is the fee? 2. Is WAHED still safe? curious by reading last year's posts here Thanks! 1. No idea since the investment makes up for it. More like sayang loose out, unless very necessary. 2. Yes. I think got license to operate in Malaysia from SC. |

QUOTE(meors @ Jul 5 2024, 09:55 AM) I entered the a lot (5 digits) , then withdraw the whole amount to test. Works. Noticed that deposited take few days depending on on holiday. Withdrawal of takes 2 weeks. So if you need instant cash on hand, something like tng go+ or aeon bank savings pot (and even current account) will be better. Also, I noticed that as Wahed is an ETF, making rash decisions based on market fluctuations will result in lost in long term or lower dividends. You have to actually make an effort to understand the nature of each ETFs offered, which individual company in each ETF, market conditions. Then only make an investment. I also had made knee-jerk decisions because of market conditions only to reverse the decision few hours later. Luckily no charge. Sticking to your investment thesis works long term. Only that, people are not bothered/remain calm if their portfolio go up by 50%, but freak out when their portfolio goes down by 10%. Also, don't discount your gut feeling if something doesn't seem right. It took me more than 6 months to get settled down. Understanding what my tolerance is. Remember, nothing goes up forever and you can actually loose money. meors liked this post
