Still in DCA mode, dont wish to break that habit. Because knowing myself so well, the extra RM100 money in my bank wouldve gone somewhere else if i just leave it there
So still best to do DCA DCA till you forget “Eh wah RM2,000 oredi ah” |

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Apr 14 2020, 10:46 PM) Sorry to disappoint you that Wahed is investing the ETF is local based not US based. Patutla my SA fly but Wahed like no feeling niLow volume season for the two ETFs at local bourse will barely move the needle. I had monitored for weeks before MCO and there's no high correlation to US daily market performance. |

QUOTE(red streak @ Apr 15 2020, 11:15 AM) It's also why SA dropped the moment the US market dropped but Wahed didn't move for awhile. If you're trying to actually make money then Wahed is not your thing. I know they have US based ETFs so I have no clue why they don't give us access to those. Eh then what does Wahed supposed to do then. Haha. at least SA gives you a chart where you can check your daily perfomance. But then again, you are right. Wahed is too simple, unlike SA where you can look back at past deposit and value, While Wahed, its just “i have earned / percentage gain” I mean what if i want to check on how much i earned on 30th March? I dont mind it is red, but at least let me see how much i lost. Haha. |

QUOTE(United Rulez @ May 11 2020, 12:28 PM) Wahed's been good to me this past few weeks. Congratulations! Been DCA-ing at least RM 100 per week since around December 2019 Changed portfolio to "Very Aggressive" since beginning of March. But more importantly. How do you navigate during the early march rout? The -10% return. Do you have the sudden urge to jump ship or stop DCA for awhile. QUOTE(amir.asyraf @ May 12 2020, 09:27 AM) After not checking for several months, my Wahed gain is really really good, suspiciously good, despite the economic downturn. Both on the same risk level?Meanwhile my Stashaway is like the direct opposite with, doing badly. Not sure what to make of this... My stashaway and Wahed perform the same. Both are aggressive and dca around the same time too. |

QUOTE(Digifriend07 @ May 12 2020, 05:34 PM) Help me gais... Start with 10% of your income first. If it’s too much. Start with 5%. Don’t worry about the amount. Just build the habit first. Better for beginner level, how much to put in this wahed? And suggest to me this one better for short terms or long terms? Short or long term depend on your saving goals. Don’t just see this as “oh just another saving” but look at it as “my first rm10000” or “Civic Deposit” |

QUOTE(wira1979 @ Nov 24 2020, 12:01 PM) Been lurking for a while here. Finally decided to invest some money in Wahed mainly because of the Syariah compliance, exposure to the US and decent track record. Good decision Went Very Aggressive because YOLO Hoping to contribute to this thread. Cheers. Just DCA la, dont worry so much on the “correction” Ive been on weekly DCA since early this year. Ok juga now up almost by 20% (on a very aggressive portfolio too) |

QUOTE(darkstar89 @ Nov 26 2020, 09:37 AM) Hmm. Your risk tolerance? Haha. If one time deposit today, next month crash. How you gonna react? If dca monthly today, your first monthly deposit tiba2 next month all time high. How? Haha Just do both? If it were me. Haha. Let say you have RM10k, 5k lump sum, the other 5k you put in asb or (savings account) first, then slowly withdraw for DCA. |
