Hey guys, I'm currently thinking of putting some money into this Wahed investment. I'm wondering if there is anything that I should watch out for?

Is aggressive portfolio any good? or should I go for more conservative one? biggrin.gif

and no I have no prior experience in investment, so I had no idea what should I look for but yeah I do understand the risk involve.

To be honest I'm not sure how to really measure how much is to say I've filled up. but yeah I sure have.. and actually I'm planning to spare about 30% of my monthly saving into this..

just say that this is like my 2nd piggy bank that I hope can grow by itself. 😋

Emergency fund is able to allow to live in case you lose your current source of income for min of 3 to 6 months of your expenses and commitments.
Some even said better to use 3 to 6 months of your gross monthly income.

on your question on
"Is aggressive portfolio any good? or should I go for more conservative one?"

and with your reply like this
"this is like my 2nd piggy bank that I hope can grow by itself."

then i think for me, i would prefer to have a "conservative rather than aggressive portfolio"

I see, what should I do if I want to go for aggressive portfolio? Buy/sell only at appropriate timing?

my guess i think you can select/opt for it during a/c opening.

Buy/sell only at appropriate timing?
sure, if you know when the appropriate timing is to be. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Aggressive if you are not willing to touch the money for the next year because the results will be seen by then

Conservative if you’re not willing to lose hence it will grow slower and steady.

In your case, in Wahed 2 ways to play out if you need capital preservation just go ahead with the gold portfolio or most aggressive if you will ride the volatility out.

Beware that in Wahed the markets are down like last week, your account will be reflected quickly because the most aggressive are 80% linked to equities

But since you’re willing to invest just concentrate and pick a platform to park it there for long term savings rclxms.gif
