Did some quick verification on the serial number on Apple's website and it's authentic. All 3 places show the same number, box, charging case and the settings on my iPhone.. I actually have no idea how does the warranty registration works. If you buy it from retail or online Apple store the its prettt straightforward. In this case I’m buying from a retailer. My warranty page says update purchase info, which I haven’t done yet.
Anyway, my point is that the AirPods Pro is genuine. I’m able to connect seamlessly with my MacBook Air and inside my Mac Bluetooth device page, it’s showing all information correctly, on the latest firmware, manufacturer is Apple and all battery status. Huge difference between ANC and transparency mode so they’re definitely working.

I just registered the warranty for my RM700 AirPods Pro bought from Lazada reseller. I was able to select the purchase date and theoretically I could only register when I want to claim the warranty then I would have infinite warranty coverage though I don’t know how this will work given that Apple probably knows the moment you connect your AirPods Pro to your iPhone with internet connection on.
Given that AirPods Pro has international warranty, I’m not worried about claiming it but the downside is that.. for some reason, my set is recognized as Canadian so only credit cards issued in the Canada can be used to purchase Apple care for the extended warranty. Sob. My plan is to use it for two years and get it exchanged right before the warranty ends
