Airpods pro
- good integration between iOS devices
- virtually no lag while gaming on ios devices
- sweat and waterproof, can be use for working out
- anc okay but not that great

Sony WF-1000XM3
- better sound quality
- better Active noise cancellation
- not sweat or waterproof
- slight lag delay for games on ios devices

Get what is best for your needs

few times already, 1 of my pod audio lag behind another after i turn on transparency, pause and continue playing song.

i would say Airpods pro more comfort wearing for long time

Too comfort...like wear nothing...even drop it you might not notice at that point.

Apple starts to look into the weak anc issue on the latest firmware.

Already feedback to them.

How is Airpods Gen 2 compared to the Earpods supplied with Iphones?

Hi guys,

Just got my Airpods Pro yesterday, out of the box the firmware is already the latest version.

This is my first pair of ANC headphone, I personally think it’s quite good. I’m not sure quiet it should be when I tested walking around in Mid Valley it can filter out almost 90% of the ambient noise which is for me is pretty good.

Definitely better than the original Airpods. The only issue that I have now is poor phone call output at recipient side. Any way to solve this?

i used it few times for phone calls, i do not face such issues you mentioned....is your recipient having good line that time, or everyone you call also same?

Your voice tends to be more muffled versus the Gen 1 & 2 AirPods due to the shorter stem. I do get complaints as well that they can barely hear me, so I need to speak louder

I was outside of building when I made the call and within the telco’s coverage (full bar with 4G), same goes to the recipients. Both made the same remark - Muffled sound, so I had to raise my voice. I tried using both ANC on & off but still same result.

Perhaps I need to reset & pair again.

Oh dang, imagine the stare you get when you’re trying to have a decent conversation haha. I hope they can address this also in the coming firmware update though I know partly it’s due to the hardware design.

Hopefully its the firmware. The latest firmware is just buggy as hell.

just bought my airpods pro yesterday through lazada and got it today

As owner of both Airpods and Airpods Pro.
My thought is the pro version is definitely better than non-pro version.
1. The In ear detection sensor have less lag.
2. Bass is better. I’m not a pro but it seems a lot better in boom.
3. More comfortable cause it’s an in-ear design

Noted that sadly On vs Off noise cancelling macam no different in effect. Transparency is a very good bonus.

I feel that the bass is better because of the better isolation and being an IEM as well.

The noise cancelling now is like sohai after update. So i bought a wf1000xm3 instead. Bass better confirm la cos u get better seal. If ur earpods u buy those 3rd party silicone seal u get improvement on bass also.
