I can't decide to go for the 32gb or the 64gb version, save up and buy an sd card for half the price or shell out now and not have to worry about getting extra storage later for my apps.

32gb, rm599 on official mall lazada. 64gb lowest price from reputable seller, rn729. the rm130, could be used on getting a micro sd card with more space for half the price and maybe other stuff.

So I wanna ask for your guys advice and information first.

If you can afford the bigger storage version, just get it.

Internal storage > external storage.

Everything work faster when files are store in internal storage.

I agree with this. Also if you buy the 32gb you'll only have 20+ gb of space for apps and other storage such as pictures. Nowadays the picture size has drastically increased compared to last time, so it'll eat up alot of your space too if you store in your phone. Also not recommended to store apps in sd card. Some apps don't even work on sd card. So if possible just go for the bigger storage

Thank you for letting me know.
I'll save up a few extra bit of cash for it or wait until an 11.11 or Christmas sale.

If I ever get microsd in the future what should I be looking for? There's like so many types and speeds of them to choose from.

Buying micro sd card currently can be quite tricky as there are so many fakes out there. If you're buying micro sd online the first rule is don't ever buy if it's shipped from overseas. Nowadays there are also many local sellers who are selling fakes too. Only buy from reputable sellers such as EIT store, Ookas, MonoIT Digital or you can buy from the official sandisk, Samsung store.

You can get Samsung, sandisk or even Toshiba is not bad. If you want better speeds get class 10 micro sd cards.

I only buy memories and sd cards from sandisk's official stores now, I've been burned one too many times buying local sellers or local tech shop. I got sold a fake "original" that was RM70 for a 64GB, tested it properly with a memory software, it was one of those 2GB fakes ones that just overwrites you data and has a fake identifier that says its bigger than it actually is.
Went back to the store, they wouldn't do jack s* over it. mad.gif

Lesson learned, now I'll just buy straight from manufacturer online store. unsure.gif

That's a really bad experience. Well at least now you won't get cheated again and you'll get the right one.
