Which one cause eye strain to you? I found my astigmatism getting worse when used samsung phone with amoled screen before, need to keep changing glass per year. Now using lcd screen pong eyesight is still steady. Btw is the amoled screen is the same in note 10+ and new iphone? This post has been edited by JungWoo: Oct 28 2019, 11:38 AM

Bro, the optometrist never explain to you what is astig? You are sensitive to bright lights. Amoled is brighter and higher contrast. Of course it'll cause more discomfort. The solution for you is to cut down on screen time, all screen time. Else your astig power will climb to thanos level. Lense power has a limit. When you hit that, you will be permanently semi blind. Enjoi....

Dafuk? What is the causea of astimatism again?
I tot it is due to the physical force whatever it is such as ur finger, that injure and cause permenant unevenful surface in cornea to distort the light distribution in the retina and hence the blurring of vision. Why blame display?

I have p20pro and Mi A2 Lite (previously using mi 5}
No real difference to me.
TS eyes getting worse probably due to other things, not really the OLED vs LCD thing. And TS eyes now probably have stabilized, so not getting worse anymore.
