How about the taste, my question might sounds crazy since most of people agree water is tasteless. But some got that weird taste.

Ceramic(white) filter = about RM20.
Carbon(black) filter = about RM60.

The filter needs to be cleaned with a brush about every 3 months and should be replaced every 3 years.

not true at all. just avoid those mlm stuff where you pay their multi layer salary instead of buying product. i avoid the kimchis because of the unnecessary subscription to replace filter and the uncertified catridges. and the worst offener would be those kagen, dr x.

3m, aqua, amway ya from usa, at least are certified.
i like amway as they got UV lamp to kill any remaining bacteria not killed by chlorine. unfortunately they are MLM and you pay through the roof for it.

aqua, amway are the two brands certified to filter antibiotic residue. not sure 3m have the cert or not.

Just buy water filter at shoppee oem one. Around 200 to 300. Cartridge replacement about rm 120 per year.

Hi again, my fiance bought the water filter mentioned earlier, Aquasana

I already installed it and already flushed the filter for 10 mins as well.

I noticed after I washed my hand, it felt slippery at first 😂 but after 10 mins ok lah.

Taste : like u mentioned earlier, very smoth, no weird taste
Smell : no smell at all
Instalation : very easy, 10 y/o kid also can do

do add a cheap ceramic filter first. this will prolong the lifespan of the filter.

some additional filteration compared to others:
nsf401 = filter out bpa and antibiotics

so far i know only 3m, aquasana and amway can do this.

Honestly, the very first water filter that comes to my mind is Amway.

but anyway, the difference between amway and aqua/3m is the UV lamp to kill bacteria.
but so far our malaysia water is chlorinated so no bacteria problem.

Any kitchen water filter above RM500 is likely a money scam.

Very simple to choose:

1. Do they tell you how small the contaminants it can filter
2. What type of contaminants it can filter and how many of them
3. How much water the system can filter

If we buy a water filter system without the above data, we could be buying a syiok sendiri machine where we can't really get healthy water.
