i saw my computer when open chrome it opens up arasak website pretending to be search engine.
the url is embedded in the shortcut file. i changed the shortcut url, but later on, it came back
anybody has any clue how to remove this malware? googling doesnt help cause it only ask me to install some antimalware, which i am pretty sure are malware themselves
I believe your system is compromised, do you have any anti-virus or anti-malware installed ? run a scan on the entire system to be sure.the url is embedded in the shortcut file. i changed the shortcut url, but later on, it came back

Another method is use another computer to download MalwareBytes, then installed it on the affected computer. Hopefully it can detect & auto-clean for you.
Worst case is you need to backup all your data, do a reformat & install anti-virus then only restore back your data (do a scan before restoring).
