I m thinking to buy Ikea Kitchen knoxhult seroes. The cheaper series.

Will normal gas cooking stove fit in ? Any review for Ikea kitchen?

Is the quality OK? Can last up to 8 yrs ot more ?

Is it advisable to drive the kitchen components myself to save delivery cost ? (i got Avanza)
OR better they deliver it for me?

Is it easy TO assembly OR better let the staff do it?

Well it is entry level stuff so I guesstimate should last 8-10 years if you don't flood it and always wipe dry The tap is still replaceable later on if you use it often.

Delivery is optional, you can save the delivery fee if you can move the packages (16-32kg per box) with trolley.
Its all flat packed so will fit nicely in the avanza.

This series looks easier to install than the metod one since it doesn't use suspension rail. You will need to drill a few holes into the wall [ref step 32 Knoxhult instructions] too, so if you're drilling into brickwork its easy, RC concrete wall may need a rotary hammer, if tile surfaces you will need to explore tile bit first before changing to masonry bit.

However do bear in mind it will be rather permanent - as it is made for one-time-install (i.e. not meant for breaking down into pieces and assemble again at new place).

1. Penghujung table top tu kena jaga betul. Sebab air boleh serap antara sticker dan top tu.
2. Bahagian bawah tu kalau nak mop lantai kena juga hati hati. kes yang sama, air serap antara sticker dan kayu tu.
3. Jangan sampai top "terluka" akibat pisau atau benda tajam.
4. Saya tak tebuk untuk sinki. Kalau u buat, make sure guna silicon banyak2.
5. Overall, kira ok lah dengan harga dan suit the purpose. dan senang nak tambah kabinet nanti
6. Saya pasang sendiri. Sorang2. makan masa. tapi seronok.

Ikea staff said the same thing to me, he said no issue if we planned to cut out the worktop to install a built in hob. So with such confidence, we purchased the knoxhult cabinet anyways, and today upon my browsing I found out that I can't install built in hob into the knoxhult cabinet. Hmmm

Intended purpose "to be condemned by tenant" then ok lah. It will work fine.
Metod is usually for own stay one since it costs more.
I moved about 300kg total of metod barang for 8ft souped up cabinet (cabinet, drawers, etc etc), instant muscles. No need to go gym.

They will deliver to doorstep* with their own ikea trolley, so just need to arrange timeslot with them. Some places 5.5 days only can deliver (lorry restrictions).
*should have a lift

The tap water plumbing you use those screw nipples and flexi hose is better than hardcoded solid pipes (i.e. your typical plumber) in case need to repair just change like lego only, if hardcoded pipe you will need to saw off and may be hard to replace. Flexi hose can get hokah brand, gooding. Comes in various lengths in 6" steps starting from as short as 1ft to 3ft+ to suit your placement.
