Malaysia only got 2 tax free haven, one in Langkawi and the other is Labuan. If you register your car there to enjoy tax free status, your cars must bear their registration numbers.

So guys if you see LA, LB plates means its from Labuan, KV means Langkawi and G1M is the only number allowed on these two tax free havens.

If you see these registration numbers on these cars means that duties are not paid. If they choose to pay their duties later only can they interchange back to normal plate numbers.
