Hi,
I have a MacBook 3,1 White (late 2007) in hand. I would like to do some upgrades (if possible). But it seems I can do nothing other than SSD (RAM is now 4GB).

If you could advise:
* 4GB RAM are the Max to go?
* Does SSD Sata 3 compatible? (Speed slow a bit doesn't matter, as long as compatible)

What else could I consider?
Appreciate in advance ๐Ÿ˜Š

These model of MacBook only has SATA1. If you are getting latest SSD for it. Be sure to double check if it backward compatible. Not all SATA3 drive are able to work in SATA1 port. You should have no issue if with SATA2 drive.

In the end with all the upgrades this model only able to run 10.7.5 max. And many app wonโ€™t run on it even browser will have limitation. Hope youโ€™ve considered all these.
