I heard if uses cases like mous , spigen better not to use TG which cover till the edge, true?
yes thats why 2.5D is one of the best options, there are newer versions (not sapphire) from imos corning which is seamless 3D slightly smaller cut from traditional full 3D for that will fit maybe 70-80% of cases... but from my experience the brands that i mention on previous post works fine even with imos seamless 3D corning
Anyone here experiencing intermittent connectivity with a multi-sim (phy SIM + eSIM) configuration ?
Despite both cellular data are on maximum signal strength on open area, I experienced disconnections halfway on applications/games that needs the constant data communication.
Apple support had suggested to perform a hard restart of the device , but that didn’t seemed to help either. Not sure it’s a hardware or iOS related issue, as I’ve few peers that experienced the same
don't quote me on this but afaik news from the internet saying ever since apple using intel modems their connectivity has been poor compared to qualcomm modems... but for my personal experience i don't experience disconnections... maybe wait for update? i'm on ios13.2 public beta and the recent 4th beta fixes the LTE issue... maybe can give it a try
silencer5089 How is the oleophobic coating on the sapphire Imos? Does it last significantly longer compared to normal TG SP?
And I know the sapphire should almost be impossible to scratch, but I guess it’s more prone to crack if dropped on the floor?
Looking to finally try out imos, but the price really needs some persuading before I cash it haha!
Thats one thing up to your decide factor when choosing screen protector for ur phone...
if you're a careful person who basically never drop your phone and fussy with hairline scratches and smoothness... i would say sapphire is a go, cause my sisters' xs max is using first gen sapphire and 6 months later the coating still good as new... given the fact from my experience ladies phone the screen protector oleophobic coating usually wear off faster reason from throwing their phone in the bag, make up stick on the phone, and sometimes accidental scratches from their earring... my sister has all these 3 happening to the sapphire but it still is good as new
sapphire = impossible to scratch but breaks easier corning = harder to break but easier to scratch
afterall glass is still glass, it will break if there are forces impacted on it or drop... the only reason we use it is to protect our precious phone screen
hope this info helps
here is a strength test for the sapphire screen protector
Imos didn’t ship to Malaysia , where can I get in KL?

Alright thanks for the info!
I’m quite careful with my phone, so I rarely drop it, maybe once or twice accidental drops and that’s it, and I know it’s almost impossible to simulate drops but if the sapphire happens to crack/ shatter on the first drop then would be heart broken hahaha
Any ideas about the oleophobic coating for Corning vs Sapphire? Because that’s one factor I’m particular about, the cheap TG’s oleophobic coating usually wear off very fast and causes the screen to be very uncomfortable to use.
oleophobic is awesome! lasts wayyy longer than corning imos corning by itself is already good, sapphire i can say is 3x longer lasting for the coating
Been an apple & EC fag since ip4.. luckily didnt know EC during my 1st ip2 (IINM EC only started during ip3) My 1st EC case --> EC Dayem the bro that poison me on EC few years agoo here in lowyat forum.. lol..
too bad the new designs now doesn't really make me have the urge to buy it bro... as i'm using max size if getting ec will make the phone even heavier and bulky
After trying out a few cases, I picked up this today. It fits perfectly well with amazing thing SP, with raised bezel and lips on the front and camera. Now I can safely slam the phone with screen facing down and up without worries.
I plan to buy iphone 11 pro. Currently using iphone X, 64 GB. Cannot decide whether to buy 256 GB set. went to machine and plan to get the CC instalment plan but have to buy their insurance coverage. Nee opinion: - is it worth to buy their insurance? - if I bouy from other stores eg harvey norman - will apple cover the 1st year warranty. -is it worth to buy 256 GB set? Thanks
Can try look for senheng or harvey norman usually they have better cc options go for 256gb as the apps and photo sizes are getting bigger by time. any iphones sold under apple official resellers are covered by their 1st year warranty
1. i downgraded to iOS 13.3.1 from 13.4 beta2; phone running smooth back. 2. previously after 3-4 months of usage, my battery indicator health drop to 96% but since after factory reset; now the battery back to 100% health. not sure how long it will be such away or it will regain back it's previous health memory. confused.
Did u manage to keep all your social media (wechat, whatsapp) chat conversations history after factory reset?
Anyone here can recommend a good screen protector for IPhone 11 Pro?
I want a protector that look very close to a naked screen. As u know, iPhone is using Oled panel. Some other lousy protector really affect the actual color and darkness.
imos sapphire screen protector. Been using it since day 1 launch in Malaysia till now and it’s good as new. Dare to say best in the market now
