Hi, does anyone face slow restart for iphone 11 pro max during restarting you phones. In my case, when I restart the screen will be blank and takes few seconds until the apple logo appears.

that's normal for all iphones

Because my old iphone X doesn’t have this problem and it restarts quite fast.

I had an X and also 7, etc etc. I feel the reboot speed is almost the same. Maybe 11 have more things to load. Haha

Just tested on my 7plus as well. The restart is faster compared to the iphone 11 max pro. I guess you’re right, myb a lot of things to load.

Hi,

Just checking with you guys that is using the iphone 11 pro max, do you find that your battery health dropped quite fast in less than 3 months?

The reason I am asking is because, my battery health percentage now is 97%. I do not use the phone while charging, it's always on flight mode. Also I charge it once a day.
Is it normal? or it is because of the fast charging. Some say do not believe the battery health.

My previous iphone X after 2 years plus the battery percentage is 97%.

Please advise and hope to hear from other users too.

98% now in less than 2 months using. normal charging habit. no phone talk or use during charging. 1 or 2 days one charge. unplug once 100% never overnight charging.
previous xs max 99% health after 11 months used.
*
I checked mine today is 97%. And my phone is coming to 3 month. It’s like 1 month 1% drop. I think i need to send the phone for diagnosing.

I read some article about ....

some say, it the OS issue where it is generally not true and apple had put there to mislead us....

some say, it will drop to certain percentage and it will stop drop until year later because the each battery capacity is different as some hold high charges and last longer then others...
while other says, if you happen to notice a big drop during few month, better go and have apple center run diagnostic on your battery.

Do let us know on the result after you have them check....i seem mine drop 1% too but not that significant only about 1 month plus after own them ....charge 1 1/2 days once
*
Thanks for your feedback. Yeah I think I will try to send my phone for diagnosing on the battery. I’ve even did the hard reset but nothing seems to change.

Quite curious why it dropped so fast. Even my iphone 10 dropped 1% after 1 year of using.

I don't advise you putting your phone on flight mode while charging, unless you have a second phone for people to contact you on emergency matters.
*
I have an habbit where I always charge my phone on flight mode when I back from work. So should there be any emergencies they can wait. After all my parents are staying with me that’s more important 😊

P/S: Add on...

some say it is the heat factor from charging or environment factor causing damage (Like forumer here mention)

some say using 18w charge speed up the degradation of the battery and used 5w will slow down the percentage drop....

Some say charge from 20-80% will help to prolong the battery life.....

For once, we never know until we take it to diagnose the battery....somehow i feel apple battery been very fragile  sweat.gif

I charge my phone most of the time in my room in aircond environment and yes I can feel the heat when I charge even when I open the back casing.

Maybe it’s because of the fast charge.

Yeah, let me send it for diagnosis and revert back in this group.

Just to let you all users know to be careful on the surrounding camera area, my seems to have cosmetic peel off a bit around the camera ring.

I don’t mixed my phone with keys in my pocket nor put my phone on rough platform.

You mean the paint job near the camera lens looked like it peeled off? Got a pic? It was a common problem on the iPhone 7 / 7 Plus back in the day.
*
Yup correct. Sorry but I do not have a spare phone at the moment to share with you. But will try to upload itvonce I manage to borrow someone’s phone

Guys, is it true that even if your phone warranty ends, but when you have a problem when updating ios 14.5 (due to battery calibration or something), they will extend the battery warranty replacement?

Before upgrading, there is a message of Service Battery.  After upgrade to 14.5 and the Service Battery still appear, then you may go to AASP to replace the battery FOC.
*
Not immediately.

Only after few weeks if the Service Battery still appears, than we kay bring our device to any AASP to replace the battery FOC, correct?

How about if the warranty ended?

Send to Apple is better.
What is your current battery health?

Mine is 88% on a 2 years old phone.

Agree with you. If want to plan to use it longer, do send to authorize centre for battery replacement even it’s slightly costly.

My 11 Pro 2 years @ 90% battery health.
