afaik its not a region issue. if you have multiple apple devices with icloud fam share and one of the device gets the free apple thingy.. then u will get that problem

example my bro solo device.. . no issue to cancel while still having

mine with with acct on wife acct on fam share (so her acct subscription and purchases goes on my acct)+ 3apple tv+ both of our work iphone+two ipads (kids)
i cant cancel it.

saw the samething with my dad iphone 11. his is solo device no issue.

my acct is a US acct with malaysian region.

This is inaccurate, at least for me. I have a US region account, with device region set to US with family sharing ON sharing with 4 other family members, yet I can cancel as soon as I start the free trial.

GG bought iPhone 11 Pro 256GB from official Apple online store, should be MYR 5,599.00 but I got charged MYR 5,654.99 which is exactly 1% more than expected showing on my statement. However when I first performed the transaction, the SMS from my bank showed the amount was correct (5.599.00). Anyone faced this problem before? Trying to contact Apple support...

Could be cross border fee, charged by your card issuing bank. Not Apple.

few bank impose cross border fee like cimb. maybank and uob didn't.

But the charge was in MYR... though I did realize the invoice stated that the company address in Apple Singapore, that could be it.

Sure enough I'm using CIMB. After the call with Apple they said it's a 1% merchant fee charged by the issuing bank. I was told to wait for my statement to arrive and redact anything irrelevant, then send them a copy so they can process the refund back to my card. I waited 20 minutes on the line before I was served though

I bought the LEEU clear case and fits well, build quality is OK for RM20. My only complaint is that the surface of the case feels a bit sticky sometimes? Need to wipe it down about once a day if not it'll feel quite icky to use. Looking for alternatives if anyone has recommendations...
