Unauthorized Modifications, if you scroll down after the table, there is a note regarding UM smile.gif
*
The that brings to another matter: -

"Unuthorised Modification" vs "Stock Price" column for unauthorized centre repairs.

If my Malaysian iPhone 11 Pro (purchased 2nd hand) battery is faulty, send to Switch service centre and found to have had previous non-original battery change - so is it: -

1) Battery Stock price - RM650;
2) Battery (UM) Exchange - RM379; OR
3) Battery (UM) Stock - RM680?

laugh.gif

Anyway, my 11 Pro was purchased brand new sealed but Hong Kong (dual nano-sim) unit. I wonder which price I will be charged for battery change based on that table?

i believe is exchange RM250 + RM100 diagnostic charge = total RM350
i think whole Malaysia AASP should be same price, if your area have machines, can call and ask smile.gif

for my area Penang, my friend just change iPhone 8 battery @ RM199, referring to the table, diagnostic charge is included laugh.gif

Ya, correct. According to most reviews there's apparent noise still in the night mode shots of the 11 series, but it's vastly improved from the XS series. The 12 Pro Max will take it to another level due to the bigger sensor and better stabilization.

I've seen 11 Pro Max 256GB going for as low as RM4100 now, so the question isn't how much can it sell, but at what price will you be able to get a willing buyer. I'd imagine below RM3.5k or so.

If you able to find a very low price 11 Pro Max, grab now.
12 review is not very good.
Batt life is shorter compared to 11.
5G consume 20% more batt life. I believe people will hold on getting 12 unless they want the superb camera.

It depends on individual preference, of course. End of the day, get the phone that suits your needs and budget, not what reviewers say is good or bad. I do believe the 12 series will have poorer battery life across board than the 11 series even without 5G simply because the battery is smaller.

Anyone looking to buy the 12 series iPhone if primary requirement is battery life, don’t bother with what are out now. Just hold out for the 12 Pro Max. That is your best bet. It may or may not be better than the 11 Pro Max but that would be your only choice if battery life is your main criteria in picking a mobile home.

Hi everyone, I'm currently using spigen ultra hybrid as my daily iPhone case. Would like to ask for advice from you guys on a protective case when I'm out running / hiking / cycling.

I've seen Ballistic, Otterbox, but still uncertain, what's your recommendations? Thanks...

11 pro max battery so good

The moment the battery life dips down in the 12 series, definitely a noticeable downgrade

Yup, I'm also assuming the whole 12 series won't be able to match the 11 series for battery life so ya, those on the 11 series best not upgrade if battery life is a key factor.

Well for start, tap to wake, also the notifications will lit up the screen every time there is one. Also there is raise to wake as well but i felt its not as useful to me coz it will create accidental wake in the pockets. Thats for me idk about other forumers.

I don't even use the AOD features on my Android phone as well to conserve battery and avoid potential OLED burn-ins - I am aware that many manufacturers have employed different implementation to assure customers and prevent this from being an issue but I prefer to play it safe, hahaha... I just use tap to wake the screen to check on notifications every now and then.
