Opening 1

Position: Java Developer
Work location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Preference: Malaysians only
Salary Offered: As per industry standards
Position Type: Permanent

Key Accountabilities:

1. Ensure technical documents such as program specifications, procedures, user manuals, test plan, migration plan and checklist is composed accordingly and up-to-date.
2. Acts as first tier in alert response and incident resolution and escalate to vendor for resolution.
3. Identify and analyse system or application problems.
4. Liaise with users for application related issues/enhancement discussion.
5. Tracks the resolution of any system or application problems.
6. Assist in user acceptance testing, training and roll out of software and applications development.
7. Assists in extraction of information and reporting activities.
8. Assume responsibility of other relevant tasks as assigned from time to time.

Desired Skills and Attributes:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience.
2. Hands-on java, react.js application development
3. Strong knowledge in Oracle, PostgreSQL database

Position: UFT Lead
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Roles and Responsibilities:

The HP UFT leader is responsible for handling the UFT platform, framework and helping in ongoing test automation by helping other colleagues if they face any issues and also taking up the test cases by himself. This role may be required to write shell and python scripts to handle some data generation and internal tools. As a HP UFT lead, you identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to improve the automation framework, automation techniques and identify potential problems in the existing code base. In this way, you will have a huge impact on the quality of products and services.

Key Accountabilities
1. Lead the test automation effort from planning and organization to execution and delivery. Develop effective test automation strategies.
2. Able to write complex code to automate test cases if required.
3. Work with system test team and development teams to develop an effective test automation culture and intimate the teams in time about any test automation challenges which may arise due to any development or ST activity.
4. Demonstrate intuition and knowledge about how to break the automated test cases by finding bugs, and apply this knowledge with measurable results, influencing the quality of the product.
5. Plan and maintain the UFT server setups.
6. Gauging ROI on the automation efforts being done.

Desired Skills and Attributes

1. BA/BSc in Computer Science, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or closely related degree, or equivalent practical experience
2. 5 years of experience doing test automation using HP UFT, building testing frameworks, tools and automation
3. Good Knowledge of shell & python scripting, test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
4. Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
5. Should be knowing the techniques to derive ROI
6. Working knowledge of Jenkins and git
7. Excellent coding skills in Bash, C, C++, Java or Python
8. Extensive experience of Scrum-based development process
9. Understanding of web services
