there is no such thing as a "small" egg farmer
because eggs don't come frm thin air
it came from chicken, if you're into egg business..you're pretty much in chicken business as well
and that...u need a huge piece of land for it and u need to follow the regulations as well

my friend's dad also egg farmer that only supply locally(town) and some small player
not sure how much he earn but his son work for him for RM1.5k/month only
and it's a tough job(not a 8-5 job)

setup at wrong place. my friends can get 0.5kg p month to 1kg and growing

Oh hmm I call his business small because I know there are many big player out there like supply whole Klang Valley, have super big factory and things hahaha
I never really visit his farm before, only visit his kampung house and saw his chicken farm beside the farm, not really big one.
He thinking to retire so my friend suggest to do all the delivery things (deliver to local pasar, supplier) to offload his job
Yea he sells chicks too in pasar
Just I surprised he can earn that much cause he just looks like a kopitiam uncle.

rather than 3-5k a day... how about you say 3-5k every 2 months.

2-3kg is unprocessed probably. Processed one cost way more than that.

Local cannot get high price. Try selling to China.

Better make fake bird nest, sell as ori. (Not farmed bird nest, but faked bird nest).

Over here the selling price to China is RM5K-7K for farmed ones. The ones that is wild and not farmed can be sold for 5 figures.
