yo there,

basically i'm buying a cpu from someone, and i need to use a courier to get it. the seller has had bad experience before using poslaju, and would prefer COD, but we live too far apart. so im looking for any info from the postage veterans, to maximize the cpu reaching me alive.

thanks wink.gif

Try out Skynet courier service. The service kinda good, they wrap the item with a layer of plastic for customers.

He might have problem with poslaju before that doesn't mean it will happen again.

Anyway when someone sent an item(example a retail processor) tru Poslaju. Do they need to wrap it beforehand or will poslaju wrap it? I don't think it's a wise idea to have the item sent in the retail package right then everyone would know the content.

Frm wht I heard, it was the opposite. So frm my point of view, avoid it as much possible. Try City-Link , GDEX or SecureXpress

Post offices doesnt provide wrapping services but they do sell brown paper & tali rafia (they gav me free anyway last time) so u can wrap urself there & then. Can pinjam scissors, knife etc smile.gif

Always wrap whteva u r sending via PosMalaysia w/ brown or white paper. Otherwise u r inviting trouble

city link or gdex , it depends on your area

city link 10kg - rm2x

gdex 10kg - rm2x

pos laju 10kg - rm55

nationwide - if you declare - confirm hilang

skynet - expansive than gdex

kangaroo - no idea

* the rates given above are opinion(from the courrier hq it self) not facts, the only facts above are from pos laju (i sent a few back) and gdex only

could you clarify what you mean by that? as in couriering cash??

to everyone so far
thanks for your feedback, all advice taken into consideration.

the only confusion now is the fact that some ppl say that some are good, others say the same ones bad, so i'm at a loss at the moment rclxub.gif

how bout nationwide express? any good or horror stories so far?
my other alternative is to travel there and pick it up myself.

Dats not always the case. I'd say it's more like luck. U wont knw wht kind of ppl handling ur shipments.

And regarding reliability, u r totally wrong. There r many tong sampah ones & others unpredictable. Frm my xperience, trust none completely. And better 4 walk-in customer(s) 2 prepare in advance especially if u r doin' sales. Later customer hantam
