Hello, I'm new into this but Im really desperate for help now. And in Malaysia, Lowyat forum is probably the only place where professionals come lurking. So hear me out! (My problem) Just installed Maxis Home Fibre 2 weeks ago and keep getting disconnection from my pc when using WIFI. When I use my phone to connect, there is no problem. So i though it was the WIFI adapter problem. Basically after connecting to Wifi, it would randomly disconnect every 3-5 minutes. I can only temporarily fix it by diagnosing the WIFI. (The diagnostic results are default gateway are not available). At this point, I'm frustrated af. So i just plugged in the ethernet cable and decide to call it the day. After plugged in the ethernet cable, I'm able to use the internet without any disconnections but other problem came up. Garena sometimes can't connect, Steam can online but the games sometimes are having connectivity issues. Worst of all, I use to be able to go 30mb/s on the downloads on STEAM but now it's just like 7-8mb then down to 0kb/s then repeat. So I decided to head to the Router settings and use their diagnostic tool and BOOM ping dafault gateway failed. I know it's not exactly a big issue like others who literally can't have connections, but can someone please help me out? Really frustrated at this nuisance. Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(tien171 @ Oct 22 2019, 12:37 PM) did you try direct connect via Lan cable . where is your pc and wireless router locations. which band are you on N or AC Like I said, I'm currently using ethernet cables to connect to the internet. But there are problems such as Garena connection timeout, STEAM games unable to connect etc. The pic attached is the diagnose done on the connections of ethernet cables. PC and my router in on 1st floor of my house and allocated near each other. How do I check which band im using?

Recommendation is to replace with after market router and add after market router as bridge router.

I think Maxis should be responsible for this shit. When I sign up, I didn't expect to go with the buy my own router pack route. Any other ways except for this? I don't feel like spending money for something like this..

THE UNIFI router also sucks but better than maxis stock
