Science PhD in Science, Local Public or Private Universities

Hi I am planning to study PhD through fast track( without master) right now. PhD in Local Public Universities( UM, USM, UKM....) or Private Universities( Monash,Nottingham, Sunway,Inti....) is better? Can you guys comparison these two ?

Have you found your potential supervisor?

Do they have grant?

Or are you paying the fees on your own?

Does the university provide the available resources (lab, equipment, etc) you need?

Do you prefer a university with higher rank?

The above are some of the factors you should ask yourself.

Based on the choices of universities you mentioned above, honestly I wouldn't even consider Sunway and Inti.

May I know how about other universities in Malaysia like Nottingham and Monash compare to the local public universities ? I am planning to do PhD in science.

Sounds ok to me.

As long as you have a good supervisor, adequate grant, scholarship, and research resources available to you.
