QUOTE(jehutyz @ Jul 9 2007, 01:37 PM) Latio keyless for Latio Sport n Latio 1.8 Only Latio 1.8 got Bi-Xenon headlight. For those buyer/owner did you remember when Latio launched they said the price will increase and that price is just valid for 3 days and for first 500. And they estimate will increase around 5K. Until now if i not mistaken the price also not yet increase. Is this their sales strategy? A BOO to them. Usually after few months then the car price will increased. I think Vios and City also the same. I should say never listen to these baseless rumors. This rumors may be spread to boost the sales when the new model is released. Its unwise to increase the price to RM5K as this may be an disadvantage to its main rivals like city n vios. Last time vios/city price was higher when it was introduced all bcoz of the gov's NAP screw ups a couple of years back.

Anyway i just visited the nissan showroom and i think the price increase will be a likelyhood, as stated in the showroom that the prices are only introductory. However the SA are not sure how much the price will increase, but i est around 5k at max, around the price of the previous sentra the latio replaced. So better get one if u can. In the meantime, i shall post later my impressions during the test drive of the latio sports!

Test drove it last few days and i believe this is a great car for ppl with families. The interior is spacious and classy esp with the one from the luxury/premium package. The leather + cushion combination worked well on the latio. But dont ever consider the basic latio as the seats is ugly, remind me of those low quality sofas. I test drove the latio sports and the most remarkable i found is the new engine, which is newly designed aluminum built. The engine is quiet, smooth yet powerful for normal driving. Sadly i didnt able to trash the car in corners due to traffic conditions but from what i sense, the ride is firm yet comfortable. Typically japanese car. Exterior wise reminds me of those european hatchbacks for families such as the volks golf, the 307, the european civic hatch, the renault megan/clio and so on. Such huge family hatchbacks shoudl appeal malaysian who are bored with sedans. A great car, but for a young lad like most of us w/o family commitments, i should suggest otherwise.

If u want to believe the SA's claims, the FC for the latio is 13-14km/l, since is around a range of a kelisa. That good for a 1.6 car but i judge until the real owner's reply.
