As per title above,

It's worrisome as yesterday he was feeling unwell, then he went to doctor today. He ate the medicine and went to shit just now at 10pm, there's blood. Asked him whether if in the morning having the same.issue, he said just now only.

The problem is, we took him to specialist to colonoscopy his colon and found nothing. Doctor mentioned there are alot of shit stuck at the wall of colon, when he shits, the shit will suck out and tearing the blood vessels therefore the bleeding. But I'm still worry for his condition, this isn't showing healthy sign.

Could sembelit.. Try give him psyllium husk... 1 teaspoon and mix with a glass of warm water.. It will turn into jelly if dissolved in the water.... Act as lubricant in colon, easy to shit..

Since doctor mentioned caused by tearing blood vessels, should be no problem.

Some said could be caused by colorectal cancer, but blood not so obvious.
If can confirm not colorectal cancer then don't need to worry.

Yup already did the colon last month or last two months. Shows no symptoms of any abnormal cell. Probably just sembelit .. or the doctor really fked up

Weren't there a bowel prep done before (food fasting, plenty of water and laxative consumption) the colonoscopy? Unless it was an emergency/urgent scope under general anaesthesia, the scope detection of stool does seem a bit odd.

Also, the new bleeding may be that your father is not modifying dietary habits (water & fibre) or compliant with taking stool softeners.

Hi Trencher, yes the bowel prep is done bfore the scope. They gave my dad a medicine in liquid form to drink so it detox his colon and drink plenty of eater. Fasting for 1 day i think..not an urgent scope because it was made appointment after visiting the specialist and given the laxative to clean his colon.

did at any point any doctor ever mention "diverticular bleeding"? a single diverticulum missed on scope can be just as frustrating (but not necessarily dangerous) in diagnosing a bleeder. some more compliance to stool softening habits may be needed.

Whatever symptom you ask on the internet, surely will hit back as cancer.

Before done colonoscopy, what is the PR examination findings?

If he done colonoscopy he should be fine. If there is anything like polyp they will extract take it for testing. By right they would know any issue from watching the video feed. My family member already did 2 scope in past 3 years both times show signs of polyp both times extract testing came back thank god is negative.
