LUMIX DMC-LX2 or lower spec. i've been using 2 lumix. anti shock works quite good. the pics quality are natural. no hanky panky for adjusting the mode etc. friendly to use, especially for female.

QUOTE(e-lite @ Jul 8 2007, 09:44 PM) I am looking for a decent medium sized digital camera. Duwan any huge bulky DSLR becoz tis is for my sis. She juz wan something tat is good for point & shoot. Duno how to adjust. Can anyone give good suggestions or reviews on the cameras? if u just want a point and shoot, why must it be a medium sized? just get an ultracompact will do, my recommendation is Canon Ixus 850IS, and some will recommend the Fuji F31 or F40, u can't go wrong with either one, all are great cameras..the Canon Ixus 850IS is a wide angle ultracompact with image stabilizers while the Fuji F series is good in ISO performance. all below RM1500 if i'm not mistaken. personally owned the 850IS. |

Canon is slightly expensive in my opinion, cos they are huge in advertising, other brands of digicam can do the same job for a cheaper price.. My 2 cents..

My 2 cents.. justify ur statement bro.. dun be brand discriminator lerr.. compare models to models instead of brand discriminating would be more meaningful.. |

lumix lx2 i think. but their low light condition pic is not that good compare to f31fd or f40fd. other than that, this camera i think is above average. lowest price i check is rm1480

I can atest to that...
I have a f30d Fuji and it produces amazing quality shot and low light situations are 0.0 . No more faces beaming light the moon in places where there is low light and have to use the flash! So go for the F31d My 2 cents |

if u just want just want high megapixel u can get fx100 with 12.2M. but ask yourself first, are you really need so high megapixel? that only useful if u want print out 20R Pic. haha. for me 6M is good enough for 4R-10R.
