Saw a lot of gt6, 6 pot la AP lacing la brake caliper sets so cheap on mudah.

Anyone with experience with these so called refurbished brake calipers? The pricing a bit to good to be true, comes with calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, fluids and bracket wtf.

Come discuss and share experience please.

prices are right with increased demand etc.

However, 10 out of 10 of you will forget to upgrade the rears after upgrading the fronts. Just dont complain of the fronts locking up too soon giving the rear brakes too much work. Just a friendly reminder.

Planning to go 6 pot front 4 pot back. Yes i am aware of brake bias and have a spare big BMC bias valve for it just in case.

used brembo 4pot fr/2pot rear = rm3k++
used endless around 2pot 4k++
used 6pot from merc/porche and alike are 6k++

those come with used rotor+used pad.

new set bracket from machine shop will set you back around 8xx min. depending on what car you drive  whistling.gif
+ change the rubber seal + overhaul the caliper + new pad + new rotor = xxxx

for example my recent overhaul on evo 3 twinpot totaled up rm 3k ish:
-overhaul caliper + change new rubber sleeve
-new dba t3 rotor
-sss pad
-high temp brake fluid

new set ap racing 4pot is around 9k ish.

want cheap and good? buy wilwood brake set. only headache is to fit brake line due to different SI using between US vs other world.
any issue u face during ur hardbraking with 4pot? whats your car weight? approx

Car weight 1.6 ton, so far only using it for highway blasting. 4+2 pot still ok atm but who knows on the track.

The evo3 twin pot is just service alone or already factor in caliper?
